Crashes have gotten even worse for me too since launch…
I can play 4-5 games undisturbed and then all of a sudden start crashing 2-3 times within a same game… It’s completely random and incomprehensible / difficult to replicate.
Be it in game, in a calm area, or during a horde, or waiting in the plane at the end…
Be it in the lobby idling or waiting for a mission to start…
Be it with dlss on, on each and every different setting, or Off…
Be it with RT on, on each different setting, or Off…
Be it with modified workers Thread, various different amounts, or default to full value…
Be it with frames uncapped or locked…
Be it with Video settings on max or on the lowest possible…
Be it on older Nvidia Drivers or newest.
I have literally tried everything I could think of or that has been suggested on the various different forum posts and the game is in a worse state than for the first beta… =(
Each crash seems to create following Event Error log in Windows Event Viewer:
The description for Event ID 0 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

WORKAROUND:
I noticed I got further and further into the cutscene, the less graphics memory I used. I reduced resolution from original 5120x1440 down to 640x480 - then the cutscene would play through.
Changed the resoltion again after cutscene, and it worked.
When I am crossing the bridge on Silo Cluster 18-66/A, when you need to hold out for the elevator before going to the lower levels, it has crashed the GPU twice. I was casting as i was crossing the bridge as Psyker. Happened on two separate missions on the same map.

Issue Description:
Hello,
GPU : AMD Radeon RX5700XT
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
32GB of RAM
Ever since the open beta, I am running into this issue :
Complete system Freeze when playing Darktide, I have to restart the whole computer to use it again
Happens regardless of GPU settings, or game settings
Happens with AMD Smart Access Memory on and off, seemingly less with it off
Changing workers threads has no effect on the issue
It’s the only game were it happens, I have no issues on other taxing games like Cyberpunk 2077, or Vermintide 2.
Regards,
i a match, wait about 30 seconds it crashes… this continues for hours on end no fix.
i have a i7-12700fk and a 3080ti…
only way i can get through a match is if i reduce the threads to 1 out of my 20 that i have.
this drastically kills my frames and makes all aspects of this game unenjoyable.
the game is unplayable.
I had the same problem which turned out to be caused by an additional Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 5/Rx sound card after removing the card and switching to the built-in motherboard, the freezes and crashes disappeared completely but the sound quality is crap, so it would be good if the developers did something with this problem
really sucks man, had no issues in the beta but once the game released, I can’t play a single match. really hope they can fix this because it’s getting exhausting.
