I have this issue with my microphone. I have a Razer Seiren pro v2, thought it was a conflict with Razer Synapse since changing usb port didn’t solve the problem. Randomly without a pattern my pc will spam the usb connect and disconnect sound and notice that the mic light is off. Just started today before on the pre order beta the hardware worked fine and only happens with this game.
I have an AMD ryzen 7 3800x, Nvidia 3070TI and 32 gb of Corsair Pro ram memory, Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming motherboard. Windows 10 x64
Glad to know I’m not the only one getting this, My Razer Naga Pro and Mouse Dock keep getting disconnected. It TRIES to reconnect but eventually stops. I also have an AMD CPU, a Ryzen 7 3700X to be more specific.
I also experienced this on my system with the live release and did not experience this during both the closed or open betas. I also got some testing in that gives me a hypothesis for what is happening here, though please note I’m not staff, this is unverified, and your mileage may vary.
I have one USB controller (that is, the device controller, not a game controller) in my PC, and it runs pretty close to saturation. When running the live release, I noticed the game crashing the controller, taking out all connected USB devices instead of just the ones the game was utilizing.
I guessed that this was because the game was polling every connected USB device instead of just the ones utilized by the game, so I unplugged devices down to just the essentials to run the game. And… it worked, at least enough for me to now complete missions and not have it crash USB devices connected to my machine.
I think what’s going on is that the game is polling in a way that’s expensive, possibly through every USB device connected to my PC. I can’t substantiate this since I don’t have a debugger for the client (and it doesn’t crash in a way that the device reporter bundled with the game lets me report), but if you’re a FatShark dev reading this, check to see if you included a device masking profile that’s either too inclusive or not working properly, or a poller that isn’t initialized properly, added in between the final beta build(s) less than a week ago and the current live release. Pretty sure my hardware config is meaningless in this case, since this seems to be a USB problem, not a CPU or GPU problem (etc).
At least, that’s my best guess from the available data, and I could be completely wrong here, so best luck fixing it. And for now, for folks reading this that just want to play, try with fewer USB devices connected and see if that helps.
I think the game messes with the USB ports, deletes configuration or deactivates and activates the ports randomly while plying and after closing the game
and it seem some graphic settings an other settings don’t save

I suffer from this as well, all my devices except my microphone (Blue Snowball) disconnect frequently during play. Sometimes my devices are disconnected and never come back until I restart my PC.
In regular gameplay my keyboard randomly shuts off intermittently every few minutes. This is present down to hardware lights shutting off. This issue was not present in the pre-release beta.
Steps to Reproduce:
start the prologue mission
after finishing the cutscene either by letting it play out or skipping play as normal
I have fixed this problem on my computer atleast by updating to the latest chipset drivers from AMD that came out just 10 days ago. I have a B550 motherboard with a Ryzen 5950X.
I had issue of my mouse input disappearing for a second or two every 5-8 seconds or so and so far I have been without this issues after this update.
I was running into this issue on launch after playing for most of the Pre-Order Beta without this issue.
I actually virtualize my Windows machine, so I wasn’t too certain how a chipset driver update would work for my VM. I took @Quickzor’s tip though and decided to update my motherboard’s BIOS and then things seemed to run normally in the game again. Also an AMD CPU user and I found my BIOS was a year+ old.
Windows 11
AMD Ryzen 9 5950x
ROG Strix X570-E Gaming (Updated to BIOS Version 4408)
EDIT: I lied. BIOS significantly helped me, but as soon as I joined a game for the first time after updating my BIOS it started disconnecting my mouse/KB just not as frequently. Didn’t have any noticeable issues in the lobby area though.
My inputs are dropping randomly, can’t use the mouse or keyboard for seconds at a time and then when it finally picks it up my character doesn’t do what I’m telling them to.

I came here looking for similar experiences. I experience the exact same thing. It’s so bad that the first time I think my drivers crashed and I couldn’t plug anything in again. Had to restart.
This also happends when I land in the hub, all my usb devices are dropping and reconnecting like crazy, I can’t play the game or even get out of it.
EDIT: Let me also add that the game worked perfectly fine during pre-release beta for me.
I can add that I get the same behavior while in the character selection screen. All usb devices dropping and reconnecting. However, if I press Escape to open up selections like Options, Penances etc. It stops dropping/reconnecting and behaves like normal. But as soon as I press Escape again to return to character selection, it starts dropping/reconnecting again.
EDIT: Tried verifying game files as well but to no avail. Still the same issue.
Getting this too with my headset keeps cutting out losing my mic.
This is insane.
Drivers are up to date etc only happens with this game. Wasn’t an issue in beta.
E:
Watching my system tray pop up with removal device windows and my RGB USB drive constantly connecting disconnecting.
WTF is going on? lol
Confirmed here on my end. Using a Razer Blackshark V2, Razer 12 button mouse and HHKB(keyboard). Can’t play the game right now. No issues at all during the Prelaunch Beta.
I’m on an AMD based system. What does everyone else have? Let’s see if this is chipset related or something.
AMD 5900X, Windows 11
I thought it was maybe related to a half-implemented/broken implemented Razer Chroma integration, but it happens even with Synapse completely disabled.
