It definitely has not been fixed. I’ve been getting the error for the last two days.

I am able to log in for the first time since patch 1.0.20. It only worked after I verified files and ran steam as admin. I’m pretty lost why this is, but I can log in consistently for the first time in over a month so I’m not complaining.

I do not have Kapersky, and I do not have any third party antivirus and nothing has been changed in my windows fire wall settings. I got to play last night for the first time in weeks, but it looks like my hopes that the issue was resolved with 1.0.23 have been foiled.

It let me past the login screen once. retrying login gave me the same login error I’ve always had.

OK, resolved. I tried adding Dartide.exe to my Norton antivirus exclusions, which didn’t work. Disabling AV entirely did. Experimentation found that if I added the entire Darktide folder to AV exclusions instead of just the executable, it worked and allowed me to launch in both the vanilla and experimental versions.

After the latest patch (1.0.30) i cant play the game because i get Backend error (error signing in) (Gamepass version of the game)
I never got this error before this patch so idk, tried verifying game files and it didnt help

For Microsoft Store/Game Pass users, please make sure you are logged in to the same account as your Xbox app on the Microsoft Store app also.

different MS store account was never a problem prior to the last big patch. now i get backend error in this situation UNLESS i get put in the login queue, then the game works properly. Hope this info helps you resolve the issue.
