Issue Description:
I just got this game, updated my graphics card as it asked and adjusted my settings. I hit Play and it loaded up through the introduction until it hit the primary loading screen. I pressed the space bark to continue and was prompted with the screenshot below. I have done this three more times and came up with the same result.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the program
  2. Hit play
  3. Press esc to continue
  4. Press spacebar to continue
  5. Results in the sign in error

The experimental build seems to have worked for me.

Issue Description:

Using special characters in character name crashes the backend server.

Steps to Reproduce:

Create new character.
Input ¯_(ツ)_/¯ as the character name
Accept Character

→ Error Message: Backend server error

Character editor closes and no character is created, you have to restart.

Can not get past the loading screen. Back end Error unable to sign in. I have tried uninstalling-reinstalling, verify files, updated drivers, updated graphic cards, but the issue still persist. I tried to find other fixes on the forums but did not see them.

Experiencing the same issue, game has no startup issues what so ever. just having the backend issue

It didn’t work for my 2007 errors today or yesterday but strangely I wasn’t able to log in on the normal branch (backend error on title screen), but the experimental branch works with the VPN method.

Or you know, you could properly encapsulate steam names instead….

I have been getting GPU related crashes almost every game for the entire beta since the 17th.

Loaded up this experimental build today, not one GPU crash.

No idea what’s different here but whatever it is it helped a lot.

An update has been pushed to the experimental build to address GPU-related crashes, in addition to internal_error (Error Code: 2007) and nonexisting_channel (Error Code: 2001).

Please let us know if you observe any adverse behaviour.

Were you able to play on the previous experimental build or not at all?

I’m having the same issue 10 hours into the game: I can get only to the main menu and i get “Backend error” over and over again since a day ago.

Tried every possible fix, even using a VPN but had no luck. I hope you can fix it soon, i was having so much fun with the game…

Still nothing since Tuesday. Stuck even on experimental builds, no matter the update. Interesting behaviour: With the experimental build Kaspersky blocks Easy Anti-cheat and after launching the game i get a Game Security Violation Detected (#00000010) error too. After disabling Kaspersky Im able to launch the game, but still stuck on backend error.

Back to getting the Backend error on the signing in screen since the update on the experimental build

Since the update I’ve been getting more crashes on the experimental build.

Namely, 2 game file corruption crashes, and the crash where you get stuck on the loading screen for eternity.

Now getting a bug where I can’t even load into a game. Just get stuck on the pre game loading screen (Valkyrie Cabin) forever.

installed the new patch - did not resolve login issue… installed the experimental build and was able to log in successfully, got to the create character screen.
