Kicked for too much health

THAT has happened to me a few times. It’s really annoying when that’s done for any character, I mean, if someone’s lower level / not super good, I PLAY like we are a “team”, and I help them out as much as possible l, that’s a much better reaction. What a crazy concept!!

She really is funny. She has an interesting personality and it’s very different from what you usually see in a game. Each character brings something unique to the game and the voice actors absolutely nail their characters. During alpha/beta people were crying over her lines saying “She’s too mean”.

What’s really sad is the voice actress does such a phenomenal job with her inflections and speech that there is a lot of information about Kerillian’s character behind each line, but a lot of people don’t see it or appreciate it. People will complain about her being mean when in reality they’re just snowflakes who can’t appreciate her character(especially her sarcasm and jabs) and are too dense to read things like emotion, tone, pacing, timing, and so on. They don’t understand why she talks the way she does. They don’t care about the character. They only see things on the surface. She may say one thing but deliver a load of subtle information that hints at what she means or what she feels. All the voice actors and characters are incredible, but Kerillian and her VA truly delivers something unique.

It’s weird you say people tell you to play IB. I’m used to people saying IB sucks or IB is annoying so play Ranger Vet or Slayer.

So I have another story to add:
Just from today, was playing a match and these 2 guys(and a bot) had on twitch(normal 45 second timer). One guy was talking on mic but had an accent that was unintelligible and he was yelling half the time he talked. We’re in this game for less than 5 minutes, they agro the chaos patrol and then a rat ogre spawns and kept saying something like “On me!”. Proceeding to get angrier because I didn’t come immediately. I cleared the stuff on me, used a str pot and nuked the rest of the chaos patrol(essentially soloing it) that the bot was holding by himself via his active ability(dwarf IB). The two humans were fighting the ogre and die, yelling at me saying “Kick elf!” “F**k elf”. I was like, Okay. Let’s kick the person who just did everything. Oh and by the way, I was the last human alive. So they kicked me and the game ended. /worth.

It’s somehow my fault that two people can’t take on one rat ogre while the rest of the party is dealing with a patrol that they agro’d.

Something I learned with this game is that no matter how good, how bad, how someone plays, and so on, there will always be people who find something to b**ch about. I guess that applies to any game though.

Got kicked countless times as the last person alive because the rest couldn’t handel it. Once or twice just while reving them. Especially lame is it when the host leaves while I try to solo a monster.

Can confirm, I’ve had the entire team wipe, last man standing, solo the boss plus horde and ress the team. After I ress’d them, they asked me why I was showing off and kicked me before I could answer. Like wtf… saved the run, holding grim, let’s kick that guy. Reeeeeee

Damn elf mains never show team spirit by staying alive while the rest of the group dies.

I am surprised by the amount of unwarranted kicks that can be attributed to one member of the party staying alive and the rest deciding to kick, only after everyone is ressed. Surely you would want to keep good players around to carry future fluck ups.

That would be my logic if I found myself in that situation. But I’ve spoken to some of these creatures in different situations and it seems it was my fault they all died because I didn’t stack with them or I was too busy kiting/killing the boss to take out the gutter runner that downed all 3 of them. They’ll always find some way to shift the blame, lol. I’ve even had a guy try to blame me for a wipe on the Elf ruins map while I was on slayer, top kills, top elite kills, damage and boss damage, but I didn’t kill enough specials… guess I’ll just leap halfway across the map to get that stormer. Ah yes, typical. Any human or dwarf being good is deserving love, and every elf being good is simply showing off. Plus it’s common sense that if you show off, they can’t look good and won’t get the ladies…

I feel that this is the reason quite often, not that they’d admit it to even themselves. Or rather, the player who possibly or completely saved the run makes them look bad. People generally don’t like that, and some seek retaliation. It’s still petty, and they know it, so they try to search for another reason.

If we are answering strictly to a more emotional response I feel that it is reasonable for someone to feel embarrassed when they get knocked out for a silly reason. I feel it all the time: it’s why I am so afraid of ruining someone else’s legend run… I get caught by all-too-many Leeches.

I think we all have different emotional responses to feeling inadequate. The reason I stress feeling is that I’ve seen better players than I drop for silly reasons… doesn’t make them any worse at the game, but we are all human and make mistakes. In all reality, it might be that the last player standing really did survive only because the rest of the team was on the grinding wheel for such a hard fight. This doesn’t discount the rest of the thread, though, just fielding another point of view on the topic.

'twould seem the fickle gods of irony finally found it appropriate to punish me for my sins.

Just had a Legend game where I found a Healing Draught on the ground and everyone on my team was already carrying something.

I had Natural Bond so I didn’t want to drink and waste it, so I told the elf to drink hers.

She said it would be a waste, as she hadn’t been downed yet (despite the fact that she had the lowest health on our team), promptly called me an idiot, and then kicked from the game, simply for making a suggestion.

Fortunately, the map hadn’t gone on for that long, but that doesn’t change the fact that elves need to be euthanized by the mass, Sigmar willing.

Woah, woah, woah. We’re talking Wood-Elves, right? The High-Elves should be forgiven on the grounds that they are bros and totally smite evil, yo. Plus, they’re hip to the End-Times!

in the past i was quite bothered by the ff, but nowadays, probably because I feel more confident in legend, it’s kind of welcome, means that the mobs around me are staggered and my wh is less prone to be downed by the “appeared from nowhere rat deadly hit by FS”^tm.

I still hate those midget mayfly flamethrowers.

Many a game I have entered as IB and been asked to show my range weapon. I rarely find a team that isn’t relieved to see my trusty Grudgeraker over the poot poot pistols or spewer of early onset blindness.

@azaroth75, I suppose you have temp health / regen build in most cases. In this case FF is not much a problem. It is unpleasant to take damage from allies if you have heal share, and your only one source of health is healing supplies.

I play the witch hunter or if saltz is not available, the slayer or the handmaiden
