I told her what I think. Last week the last CM said there would be a communication. They delayed to this week. Now they say next week… Maybe.
And it seems that they change theirs plans… Maybe they did not start to work on what they promised.
If you are enough patient to wait 6 months cause they start from scratch to work on something else (or maybe a console port) fine…
I will wait next week… But i have doubts that they will really give us something.
And several months with such unfinished game will kill the player base.
Maybe the game will recover from that… The question is how much time it will take…

That’s probably why they usually do. No matter what they say (or don’t) people are upset.

People are upset because they haven’t done a single thing properly for months (years, even, if you want to take vermintides into account) when it comes to communication.

Actions behind the scenes simply do not stop people communicating. They couldve said this ten days ago.
This is all hollow words. Information on the next stages of the game delivered with honesty, speed and integrity is what’s needed.

As far as Catfish explained it on Reddit today:
Catfish is the only CM purely for Darktide
the other ones (Hedge and the Wind of Fire) just covered for Catfish while it was still in its “3-month notice” period.
The memes on Reddit are good. But besides that it’s mainly “Oh look how lucky I have been with my Emperor’s gift”.
I think here it is much more wholesome…

The feedback, it’s volume and tone, and the dwindling login numbers have probably really shook a lot of people at FS. Their VT2 launch and recovery period was a lot of years ago, and it’s likely a lot of new faces are there. I’m not surprised at all that they are taking more time that we (or they) want to respond with next step.
The ground shook, and they are scrambling.
For me, I’ve basically stopped playing and will check in again after the next updates. I’m camping the Armoury with the chrome extension, but even that less and less, as nothing good ever seems to pop up.
