INVESTIGATION: Disconnects (Error Code: 2001, 2014, 3013, 4001) & General Connectivity Issues

so i fixed the backend errors from my side. I had to set “IPv6 is required for this connection” in my settings to active. I’m using linux. So in windows it may aswell be “Force IPv6” or something like that. hope that fixes it for a few people

Everything was working fine until about November 25th or 27th. After that, I’d get to the character selection screen, but then nothing. Almost immediately after the loading screen started, I’d get errors 2014, 3013, and so on.
I use mods. With or without them, the situation is the same.
I’m using a method to bypass blocking, Zapret; without it, I can’t even open this forum. I updated it today and also reinstalled the game. I updated the Geforce driver to the latest version.
Today, I managed to access the Mourningstar once, but when selecting a mission, the same errors occurred again and it prompted me to reconnect to the session. After 10 unsuccessful attempts, I gave up.

Can not load to game lobby - backend error (on first loading screen) or errors 2014 and 3013 (on Morningstar loading screen).
Platform: PC, Steam.
Location: Russia, Perm. Rostelecom (ISP).
Connection: Wired.
This is a persistent problem for about a month.

No mods.

Most likely some of yours IP-address (especially if you use Amazon) was mistakenly blocked by government while they try to fight with some sites.

WTH is going on? For the last three days horrible lags became so frequent it ruins every your 3rd-4th game. It starts the same as before - you see mobs running in places, sometimes “teleporting” from place to place, not dying to your hits, also see your teammates fighting “invisible” enemies and you’re getting hit by somebody you can’t see too. Then it always results in DC at some point. But when I reconnect this clown show continues, making the game unplayable. Also, various errors are shown when I leave such broken match and is supposed to get back to Mourningstar, instead of getting there I see an error and am back at the character selection screen.

When it happens for me, my teammates say it’s ok for them. When it happens for them, I don’t see any issues. Thus it happens to people from different countries as well, it seems, so it’s not just my ISP or local issues. I’m 100% sure it’s issue on your side. It happened before, but wasn’t that frequent as those last days.

FFS, Fatshark, you had one job, fr. You don’t invest much into developing the game - but now it’s just can’t be stable enough to be playable, that’s a new low. Three years after supposedly “release” - and it’s still a quality of a late beta.

This bs is happening again today, in almost every mission I play. The game is effectively unplayable by now. No wonder it now has Mixed recent reviews rating in Steam - it’s clear nosedive in stability of service that happened over the course of the last month. Whatever you expect to save on cutting costs like that FS will backfire tenfold once the word is out you can’t even provide a reliable online service in your live service product (it’s not even funny)

P.S.

And a few days ago it was happening to my pal who stopped playing this dying game after that, as he couldn’t play a single mission without it going out of sync. At the same time I wasn’t seeing any issues myself back then, though we live in the same country, same city even. Thus it’s clearly issues on the other side, not on ours, and it’s not being solved at all, actually, it seems it’s getting worse.

I’m attaching the console logs requested in the OP, those I think include the last train mission which started to horribly desync from the very first seconds - and continued to do so even after I restarted the game and reconnected to the session (quit it again after that, as it was totally unplayable)

P.S.

So one thing to note about the last (smaller) log in particular it’s that it’s riddled with lines like this:

What I observed during that last mission was the same as before - mobs running in places for a fraction of a second, then teleporting to another spot. That seems like it may be connected to those packet issues referenced in the log

One more note: almost every time I have those issues during the mission, I also notice increased delays when accessing mission terminal on Mourningstar. I mean when you access it after a while and it’s supposed to render all the current missions it offers. Normally it takes just a fraction of a second - but when this issue hits, it may take a few seconds, up to a 10. All that time I’m just staring at an empty screen of the Terminal

Hi, I’ve been experiencing several second lag spikes intermittently in game that sometimes leads to a disconnect with error code 2014, sometimes not

Playing on Steam from UK, ISP is Virgin Media, wired connection and it happens any time of the day

I don’t use mods, also this only happens with Darktide

My first game on No Man’s Land turned out to be an unplayable mess :slight_smile:

It’s unplayable for the whole evening for me today, ffs. In halve my matches I see it happening (mobs running in places, teleporting, ignoring hits, then I’m DCed), right from the start, or in the middle of it (even worse). And it doesn’t go away when it happens, even if I restart the client - so it’s a lost match for me. Many other players are complaining about it, and it definitely got way worse in the last month, I don’t see any improvements at all.

Servers are dying but we definitely need even more new classes instead of fixing technical state of the game.

Tbh it may not necessarily be servers, but their spaghetti netcode which can’t handle even slightest packet loss. Because judging by some lines in the logs I collected for them previously, it often complains about packets received being out of order.

Even before the update me and my friend noticed that we got these errors when we tried to select a character. Today, I tried to hop on to play the update and the launcher was blank. I assumed it was a backend error like many times before, but I got past the title screen. When I tried to select a character, however, I started getting errors 2014 and 3001 and couldn’t get to the Mourningstar. I think it’s the region problem, but I still couldn’t get in with VPN.

  • Issue: 3013 error code when selecting operative.

  • Platform: Steam

  • Country & ISP: US, Spectrum/AT&T

  • Internet connection: Wi-Fi

  • Consistency: This error, alongside a couple errors, was happening with some consistency for quite awhile for me. Since today (Dec 4 2025) it has been happening 100% of the time.

Me and my friend were looking for a solution and he found out that Cloudflare WARP helped get in the game. It might cause lag, but it’s better than nothing.

The game literally doesn’t work in the evening when the player count is much higher. Fix your servers.

Yet another evening of completely ruined games, it’s karking unplayable. For 2 hours straight most of matches are plagued with those desync issues. Ffs, are you trying to solve it, or this thread exists only as a venting tube for your customers’ frustration? It lasts for months and only gets worse as time goes.

I’m attaching another log, this match started normally, I died and was waiting while captured at the totem - when it happened, I could see it while spectating, mobs and my allies were running in places, then I got DCed. I decided to not reconnect, then closed the game.

Yes, I can’t remember ever seeing those issues late in the night or early in the morning.
