Interesting. Even though I already have capped desired frame rate decided to try it. It around halved my GPU usage.
Probably be good for summer to reduce heat but at the moment it’s winter and keeps me warm at same time. I actually reverse my PC so PSU blows nice warm air into my face.
But the UI elements ghosting/jitter ultimately just made me go back to normal as I do rely on team mate’s ammo count for sharing ammo pickups.
It does disable Nvidia Reflex for me. I can’t quantify whether or not this increases input lag. Hard to tell.
According to compatibility list I tried with Cyberpunk 2077 and has same effect of around halving GPU usage.
