EAC has been disabled for a year now.
You can manually update DLSS dll for instance.
P.S. If you’re on AMD you’re better off using XeSS apparently.

I’m not seeing it. Is “AI Frame Gen” the actual name of the setting I should be looking for?
The log file is appearing, which I assume wouldn’t happen unless the mod was installed correctly?
I use 3. No issues here.
Not disregarding that it could affect multi monitor set ups though since it does mess with your GPU software.
Just stating no issues on my end.

WARNING: THIS CAN BREAK YOUR HUD -kind of a serious issue
If your guide has a negative outcome might want to disclaim that upfront, a little more obviously.
I already said the HUD part will be jittery/flickering, thats sadly a downside this mod has. but I take better FPS over a Hud i only glance over when i pick something up.
I mean you put it after the uninstall instructions… There’s always going to be a subset that sees the title and goes down the steps then reads that afterwards.

Hmm, I must be doing something wrong. Installed it, logs started generating, frame gen was turned on, no difference. Not even the dreaded jittery hud.
What is your CPU and GPU? maybe you are bottlenecked by the cpu? I do not know if it works for AMD cards You need an RTX series card aswell, and it’s kind off useless if you have a 40xx series because they already got the AI frame gen stuff, it’s meant as a band aid fix for RTX 20xx and 30xx cards
I can’t remember the CPU off the top of my head, but it’s almost certainly not the bottleneck. The GPU is a 3080.
I’ll check these out in more detail later when I have a minute.
Edit: Definitely no CPU bottleneck, frame generation is on. Not sure what might be happening here, but this mod isn’t doing anything for me.
I use three monitors too, although I had to change DT to dedicated full screen for it to stop doing things to the other monitors.
you must always go full screen on video games. It increases FPS.
So after i installed this mod, whenether i boot up my PC - my second monitor is not responding. Like there is no connection to PC. When i unplugged and plug in my HDMi - windows notifies me with sound, that there is something connected, tries to connect to second monitor, but fails. So it’s an infinite loop of screen flickering black and windows sound spamming.
If i unplug my monitor and wait for some time. Like 15-20minutes and plug it back in - everything works fine.
So i assume, because this mod messed up my GPU setting - it takes system a while to start operating as regular and to load all processess. Which is why my second monitor cannot connect.
It’s not the monitor fault. As i unplugged my first monitor and left only second - it worked fine. But when i tried to connect my main monitor as second - it also bugged out.
If it’s affecting you on boot, then maybe it was a driver imcompatibility.
i did removed the RestoreNvidiaSignatureChecks like in instruction. Restarted PC - didnt helped.
Then installed new drivers. Clean installation with NVCleanstall application. Problem still occured.
I was going to reinstall my windows anyway and change my SSD. So it’s not that big of a problem. But it is still worth warning others about. That it may, or may not, mess up your second monitor for some reason.
Might be a 3060 thing specifically.

the author says the hud can be fixed in most games but it needs time. what does that mean exactly? it has to be fixed by amd? cuz then were f ucked
I don’t know i tried scouring youtube but whenever i found a video where someone said they “fixed it” they didn’t. On a positive sidenote I saw a reddit post yesterday saying FSR is coming officially to Darktide so maybe it will fix the flickering for us.

At least for me the new and latest version of the mod(10 jan '24) has reduced the ghosting of the hud somewhat. Still not great but not as annoying as before.
