I thought having 850k saved was enough, but i got 1 usable revolver from my Vet, and so far have spent 600k on Chainaxes and not a singe one above 350. I had one 360 but with a 60% damage roll. I want to kark myself.

I wasn’t paying attention and forgot to turn off “buy until rating”… so like 500k
edit: i just wanted a single weapon to mess with the move set

I tried to roll a new “Catachan” VII combat knife, mashed the button and spent about 600k, got 4 knives that were over 370.

One had low damage. Gone.

One rolled trash perks. Gone.

Other two rolled really bad blessings. Gone.
So yeah, I’m done with this crap for now.

I use the browser plugin and only use Brunts to farm blessings or test suboptimal weapons. Don’t use it seriously.

10k, i bought one revolver and got a decent enough stat distribution to at least test it out, i am going to engage as little as possible with this horrible RNG fest as possible.
I have 11.5 million space doubloons, about 1200 items (help me) ready to scrap, and 140k plasteel for when I get off. I’m ready to watch it all burn.

Y’all don’t use Brunt’s? I don’t think I’ve bothered to even look at the normal shop since I came back to the game. Can you get anything good in there?
As for how much I’ve spent… who knows, millions certainly. When I pull up to brunt’s I will look at how much I’ve got and decide what level of dockets I’m not willing to go below… And that’s actual good advice for visiting casinos… I hate this system so much.

Yeah I use the browser plugin, highest base at the top. Gotten pretty much all my 370s and 380s from there. Sometimes melks. Never brunts or emperors gifts.
Don’t the blessings/perks tend to be poorer?

So armoury max blessing tier is tier 2 and rarity is blue. But you only buy greys and greens from armoury. Preferably greys.
Melks has purples and oranges and tier 3 and 4s, but more tier 3s. So Buying purple can be good, or orange if it’s exactly what you want obviously.
Upgrading does seem to give a better chance of higher tiers.
Well maybe worth keeping an eye on then. I do check melk every now and then to see if he has anything with blessings I can strip off.

For me, my best luck was a bit of patience with the browser plugin. Even if I am playing other games or while in darktide. Just quickly flip through all 4 characters, any grey/green 370+ I am looking for. Yes, quickly snag em, no, don’t bother logging in or just do another mission.
Maybe brunts is more appealing if you only have a character or two, but brunts becomes less efficient the more characters you have in your shared wallet to gear up, and the armoury more useful. I used to have an excel sheet to keep track of all the blessings and weapons I wanted

That’s a good point, I am mostly on my vet. I play my other characters here and there but I’m certainly more comfortable spending plasteel on my main.

millions, my friend also wasted 22.1mil dockets and 1.159.075 plasteel getting the right plasma gun @FatsharkCatfish

@Harris how do you feel about the state of crafting in general?
@ brosgwHonestly, I was kinda disappointed when crafting was added and not just because of the reason that you had to gamble and have locks randomly placed on blessings. When I heard about " Crafting " I thought that players could create new weapons from scratch. Like for example choosing the handle of the weapon, or adding scopes and stuff. Or making something unique, like a revolver that shoots plasma cells.
Also, I think it would be cool if some blessings could be used for other weapons/ classes too. For example I’d love to have the Ogryn’s " Charmed Reload " blessing on my Vet’s bolter. This is just an example, they could make all the blessings available for all weapons so we can make more OP builds. To make it even better, blessings could be all saved in the player’s account instead of just one operative. In case it would be too OP, I would suggest making those guns only available for Auric missions to balance things out.
