Hotfix #38 (1.3.3) Patch Notes

Hotfix #38 (1.3.3) is now live on Steam. It will shortly be live on our other platforms, too.

  • Resolved stutter and performance issues caused as a result of the Shader Cache not building correctly upon the launch of the game.

Dev Note: Essentially, the engine wasn’t able to compile the shaders in advance for players due to an invalid cache, so it caused stuttering as the cache rebuilt itself in-game.

  • Fixed an issue where the audio would suddenly cut out for brief amounts of time.
  • Ius Mk III Shredder Autopistol accidentally had the wrong set of animations playing in first-person for some actions. It has now been changed to play the correct original animations again.
  • Fixed instances where the Martyr’s skulls in Enclavum Baross and Relay Station TRS-150 were already accessible before completing the puzzle.
  • Fixed typo in the Veteran ‘Weapons Specialist’ keystone description.
  • Fixed an issue where the pipes of the Psyker “Mk VI PT-38 Jump Suit” upper body cosmetic would move on their own.
  • Fixed an issue where parts of the leg brace on the Psyker “Illissi Mk Vf Psykana Garb” upper body cosmetic had the wrong colour applied to it.
  • Fixed an issue where the Zealot “Suppliant’s Hood” headgear cosmetic would sometimes get deformed.
  • Fixed clipping issues on the Zealot “Catechist’s Vestments” upper body cosmetic.
  • Fixed an issue where some beards would clip through the Zealot “Hive Scum Hood (Black)” headgear cosmetic.
  • Fixed an issue where some beards would clip through the Zealot “Chemsafe Rebreather (Worn Plasteel)” headgear cosmetic.
  • Fixed clipping issues on the Zealot “Radical’s Temple Mask (Red)” headgear cosmetic.

I know it’s because of cosmeticdrops
But any fixes for the preformance drop, broken sound, input not getting registered and enemy spawning breaking sometimes after the penance uppdate on the horizon?

yeah but as OT asked, more info. this is basically no info. same like this patch- useless. and like game itself is fine, but lack of proper content (not cosmetics) its just sad. new map, enemies - not this gas guy which is forgettable immediately. new weapons. etc… but yeah - skins =money…

How does a bug like that come up 18 months in to a game on a weapon it launched with!?

Funny enough, in the time it takes FS to fix that penance issue I basically completed all penances except for the most grindy ones and stopped at 4520 points. Their lack of speed is staggering.

You guys gonna fix the clipping issues for the XXXXL chem safe rebreather on Ogryn?

Across the road a similar sized studio, using the same engine, is putting out several hotfixes per week. Fatshark saves up their 1-2 actual fixes (the rest being trying to fix bargain-bin 20 dollar cosmetics) to post every two weeks. Oddly coinciding with patching in more bargain-bin cosmetics.

If they did actual hotfixes and patches more frequently, it wouldn’t be so bleeding obvious that they barely bother fixing anything at all, just to have something to post in the update that ‘hides’ their store update.

Probably because there are new marks coming for the autopistol that will use those animations.

This, plus the stutter fix is due to them screwing it up in the LAST microtransaction update. Doesn’t really count if you add the bug by your own incompetence.
