Neither of these sentiments add much of value to the conversation and are as inflammatory as the thing you allege to be responding to. Both are painting unfair pictures of what people are saying and then hand-waving it away as something that has no merit and is not worth hearing, presumably so you can be right without explaining how. This is what actually details threads like this and gets them locked more than any “controversial” opinion itself.
Maybe take note of your own input and stop trying to belittle others and making out you are better than others that post. All are welcome to say what they like, when they like, so move one to actual posts or leave, it’s that simple!
No, not really. There are people in this thread saying pretty much that. That the fact that the character in the reveal trailer saves a bunch of other acolytes, who are big strong males, is a female is a problem for them. That is a stupid complaint. Sorry.

I think when we resort to excessive profanity and a fiery tone out of the gate, that does become inflammatory and not constructive. That being said, the point you’re making is one I agree with. There are definitely silly points to go around the block.
I know what I read and I can assure you the participants are painting with their own brushes and with very broad and basic strokes.
Calling out someone for calling out something is a much bigger inflammatory derailment than what you’re accusing us of tbh and IMO your position isn’t as nuanced as you think.
People argue that all faces look like “crack addicts”, which is total hyperbole, not true and even if it was then in this universe I really don’t see the issue.
I don’t need pretty faces in this game. I don’t care if they add some but I don’t need them as some are behaving here (especially so in this instance where the protagonist is quite literally a drug-addled street-gang member!!).
I have plenty of issues with the hive ganger reveal but I have zero issues with the females face in the trailer or the fact it’s a woman. The very fact these things have even been raised is cringe to me (which is what compelled me to eye roll). Now my stance is known, I would like to bow out of this fruitless argument and won’t engage further.

That’s mean spirited but seriously, if you are demanding to have an attractive character in your gritty, grimdark 40k game where you sift through rotting blood and bone of your enemies and the people in command only care about your skill, then I really don’t know what else to tell you.
You can say the same thing about Solo Mode and look how that is turning out for the people asking for it.
I do. It seems fun to have another looney tune in the roster, fighting with makeshift or jury-rigged weapons.
That’s not to say I’m a bit disappointed with how the teaser was directed, but I’m positive gameplay-wise this will bring in some variety.

This is straight up the same logic politicians are using - if you want gore and blood in games then you are a psychopath school shooter.
I don’t DEMAND per se, but it’s a totally lore friendly to have more options, and i mentioned access for chirurgeon from the perspective of DT plot. There is no “mah lore” argument against. Wh40k isn’t realistic and grounded hard sci-fi, it’s obscure, grotesque and absurd. Book covers, official arts and media are depicting it like that.

Not providing reasonable options comunity is asking for is irrational and net negative for the game in case with resonable and non-extreme demands.

Look man, I saw people going BEHOLD A REAL WOMAN and posting the most unrealistic glammed-up ‘hive scum’ with perfect makeup as if that’s how they expect people to look all the time. People were and are getting weird about what they consider ‘adequately attractive’.
That’s the thing that annoys me sure I would like some more options on customization but it’s not super important to me but the argument that it’s “40k grimdark and people can’t be attractive” is bad just look at official art ffs.
