Its a bit frustrating. With all the awesome things you can potentially choose from, they ended up going with knife wielding drug addict. Bit of a downer of a class reveal, really.
Lore wise I’m struggling to see a bunch of hive gangers turning around to help the inquisition too. Unless they have a permanent bomb collar cosmetic I don’t see how it works.

You missed the point. If the bad guys are able to take down and capture an ogryn and a veteran (OF WAR) both equipped with good gear then logically they would have no problem taking down an ill-equipped “hive-scum.”

Me, because I actually do like crowbars, and hey, injecting myself with drugs like Bane sounds great, actually. I think the class will be fun, at least it will be content I can enjoy for another hundred hours like an arbitrator. Plus, now we can have the comedy of beating a BoN to death with a crowbar.

Yea that happens to people all the time in the game. Also in real life it happens all the time. Even the most decorated unit in an army can be killed or defeated. You only need to look at aghanistan, vietnam, agincourt, morgarten, etc etc etc
No one is invincible, size isn’t everything, and dual autopistols beats flesh any day of the week

I’m not missing it, you’re whining about a trailer character which looks PERFECTLY IN LINE with the art you have posted here. Had the character been scar face side cut you’d be whining that they got the SJW haircut and ruined her face with scars.
They have already showcased extra looks in line with the art and we know they have escher inspired haircuts in the files.

Who wants to wield a boring, mundane weapon like a crowbar in 40k? Who wants to wield a boring dueling sword or regular knife when you could use an awesome chain axe or thunder hammer? Apparently everybody, if it’s OP and takes little skill to use!
I’m kind of down with everyone in darktide being horrendously ugly. That’s kind of the vibe here.

I think the weirdest part about the class to me is that hive ganger is already an option? As a veteran in the customization in the defining moment section you can select ganger? so why make a whole class for it when it is already kinda there? much better options and for a week delay very bad for me even if it looks fun.

Warhammer isn’t some sterile sci-fi, it’s edgy, grotesuqe and provocative. You can commit genocides and kill infected people with chainswords.
And you should be able to look absurdly gigachad and hot while doing that.
