it got closed automatically due to the sheer volume of flags, yes.
Closed, I understand… I even tagged one message that was rude toward the thread author. but here, the thread appears to be deleted.
So, why the thread has been entirely removed instead of cleaned of posts against the forum policy?
There was an interesting discussion going on in it. I agree that there was also junk posts. But they just needed to be deleted from the discussion.

Don’t they remove the thread to justly clean it before making it public again ? I think that has happened with ol Jackal before

Could be the explanation. If it is what they do, then this is good.
At least, I would know it for future.
The thread closure was automated so I’m not sure what’s going on with it. Not sure why it isn’t appearing any more either, it should’ve (theoretically) unlocked itself after a cooldown period
So what this means is that if enough people join together to report something, they can basically have something they don’t like censored.

I don’t have enough of an in-depth knowledge of the forum automation to tell you either way. In any case a mod could unlock a thread should that occur.
I don’t think so. Never seen that happens before. And that’s the reason why I made the thread. The other reason was that I could have missed it.
But I have not seen any censure going on in these forums.
Still, I would like that the thread come back to life… I hope a moderator did not click delete by error.

So that is what happened, I thought it was weird aswell when I went back to try and find it. Didn’t have time to see your whole response, but I guess I’ll give Spidey Sense mod a try and see how it feels, since I did get mixed information about how it works with walls.

That is precisely what happened. I’ve restored it, but it will remain locked, as too many reports were being received.
