I created this ticket for developers so that they could evaluate this mod for violations of the game rules and, if necessary, send a request for its removal.

Wtf, people, what’s wrong with you? Modders make and share their mods for free for people so that everyone can customize the game and have fun. And your gratitude is asking the game developers to try to delete the mods? Unbelievable.
The Shartide people in the wrong forum again.
Fat Shark will no longer approve any MOD
It has been 3 years since 2022 and no MOD has been approved
Unlike Vermintide there’s no modded realm in Darktide so certain mods cause friction between players. It’s a long established pattern at this point!
I looked at the mod and if I’m not mistaken, it only affects the player who has it installed. No one should have a problem with it.
You are correct but like I said, it’s a thing (416 replies and counting):
TL;DR: upsets balance and gameplay for non-mod-users which some have strong feelings about.
I’m not bringing this up to hash it out here, just pointing out the phenomenon. You’re probably better off not worrying about it ![]()
Yeah, thx for the info. I’m really not worried about that. Unlike of politics and decisions in the real world, in the world of computer games, fortunately, envious and ill-wishing people cannot do much damage.
It is the types of modes that I’m ok to exist, but that I don’t want to have on a team-mate.
Like if you use it, use it in Private parties.
I do not even have Darktide but I am curious why is it so irritating for you that someone use something that allows him to be better in the game and enjoy it more?
There’s no point in discussing this. How long has it been since the Warhammer: Vermintide 2 mod was approved?
@FatsharkLev could you move this topic to the darktide side.
Thank you in advance.
Dude, are you serious? I’m going to create a mod that will automatically target enemy heads with a hotkey, “For fun” (joke). It’s a cheat that gives you an advantage in the game. It would be different if it just marked enemies for better visibility, but this is Wallhack, this mod makes the game easier to complete. And this shouldn’t be distributed. If he made it, let him keep it to himself. Free cheats without punishment are paradise, not a game.
Tough titties for them. The same crowd that’s been crying about mods being “unfair” still doesn’t get that modding has always been about player choice. If they can’t handle others being creative with their setup, that’s on them. There’s a huge difference between running an actual cheat through an executable that gives unfair advantages and using mods that simply improve quality of life. No one’s being forced to use them, and no one’s gaining anything from a free mod compared to the paid cheat garbage you see in games like CoD or CS2. Hell, if someone really wanted to cheat, they could just plug in a Cronus and run scripts. That’s way worse than a simple mod, since at that point you’re literally going out of your way to cheat.
I use lots of mods. I even made some mods for Darktide. I love mods.
This is not a good mod. This is not being creative with your setup. This goes far beyond quality of life. Far beyond accessibility for players with hearing impairments.
It is an always-on wallhack. This is exactly like cheating through an executable that gives advantages. Permanent x-ray vision is a cheat.
I honestly can’t understand this.
Whether it’s a mod or an .exe file, if it contains things like wallhacks or aimbots, it’s a cheat — plain and simple.
This is just players who want to use cheats making excuses by calling them “accessibility” or “quality of life” improvements.
Even an idiot could understand that.
Cheats are more about what they do than how they work.
Looking at your brother’s side of the screen is a cheat, so is a wallhack.
you seem to have the grave misconception that because the game is labeled “coop” we play it together as in “friends”
one performing alongside randoms doesn’t mean not wanting to perform “better, faster, more accurate” and isn’t competing for the best result.
the fact one doesn’t teamkill and works toward a common exit point isn’t leaving pride of accomplishments at the door.
by the same logic underachievers could use mods that kill entire rooms at the press of a button in order to “be better at the game”
play a single player title if you want to lie to yourself, once you’re online you’re under scrutiny of your team members, both in performance and LEGIT impact on the outcome.
even a havoc 40 melee only with grey weapons would be worthless if done so with mods breaking the requirements to achieve it the honest way.
if you can’t “be better” by “git gud” you don’t belong in certain difficulties in the first place.
about as envious for the prick that cheated his donkey kong world record ![]()
whatever helps one sleep at night not being able to finish the game without “aid”
and using “mods” with the results of wallhacks isn’t going out of your way confessing you have to compensate for a lack of skill.
nothing “ill” in getting kicked out of lala land every once in a while, rather “healthy” if you ask me.
Apparently not…
