Poisons what well? The game has a 67% on steam and like 5% of the original Steam playerbase. Most people are well aware of what this game is by now and have moved on. You just have a case of Stockholm syndrome.

hd2 is trash its a decent game but it’s just a shooter for the mainstream with no deep rooted mechanics nor even a stat breakdown. considering game breaking bugs you encounter each game its arguably worse than darktide on release.
HD2 didnt release “to early” it released unpolished but with enough backlog of content to drop while thier fix (or presumbly never fix huge game breaking bugs) over months.

Having a plan is overrated, when you push the game out, the first thing to do is to go on a vacation! Like, everyone all at once.

Well, whatever you want to call it, it’s got an order of magnitude more people playing it right now than Darktide does, more people than have logged into Darktide simultaneously, ever, since it’s launch day.

This was because they’re thirsty for lucre. As people are for the Krieg set. So know it is best to let people know it’s back in rotation so old whales who missed out and new whales know it’s there. That nets them more lucre based on a no content update. Saying it is a free update is frankly insulting with cosmetic costs tripled since launch.
June 25th and no news of the crafting update…

Imo they have clearly abandoned darktide, they just can’t tell us that.
Vermintide has to be making more money so they are focusing on it and they just got the interns on darktide making random crap to feed the whales.
This would explain the silence since Xmas and why there are no CMs anymore.

Honestly, a paltry amount of aquillas would’ve been cool. Like give us breadcrumbs to 100 aquillas and everyone would have been happy… I mean it’s a once a year event…

Actually no, I don’t think people would’ve been happy unless the Aquila amount was enough to buy at least one full skin. Anything else would’ve felt… dismissive.
