you only get aquilas if you buy things. everyone that’s gotten aquilas has paid money. i don’t know what grade of copium you guys are inhaling but it’s expired.
It isn’t copium to wish something else had been done - it’s only copium if you act like it will happen despite evidence to the contrary.
I think your just out of touch with normal players.
I do like one or two clears a week and do auric dam so I clear like 50% of games with randoms.
The thing is I only play zealot and don’t bother even checking the shop anymore.
I paid money for the game
Some on the team have to be out of touch and some of them may be miserly.
Its equivalent to helldiver missions that only give 15-20 warbond medals after needing to kill a crap load of enemies within the span of a few games.
Additionally it is better than nothing.
Always funny how people who arent able to grind want grind-levels of resources.
Rationale on point.
My brother I Christ I have 6 digit amounts of both resources. I don’t want materials I want an actual event.
I’m simply arguing that the math for the event doesn’t work out at all. If the reward is something that you get by casually playing 3-4 runs like any other day it’s neither a real reward nor a real event. Add in some one of the data mined frames at least. Just something.
makes sense
like someone above has said, likely just to gauge interaction before massive update
Don’t get your hopes up. You know how it is with FS games. Expect the worst and still be surprised by how bad it can get
Itd be good to have earnable aquilas in game.
stop that heresy
Unless you own stock in the company, they don’t care. Besides that, the percentage of players that play damnation is much smaller than you think.
However, when the game seems too easy for yall that live in damnation, they up the AI dramatically, so now the director actually cheats. We’ve seen it from damnation all the way down to malice, where a low intensity shock troop gauntlet sends 4 trappers, 8 mutants, 6 maulers, 30 gunners, and 10 ragers at you cuz you’re kickin @$$ helping your new player friends.
I would blame TenCents personally, it all comes from them.
IIRC, this was one of the things they said, earn in game credits to spend in the cosmetic shop…
They made it sound like you could earn premium currency to do this.
i mean it’s an event GW runs to get people playing warhammer games to buy other warhammer games, they’re not giving fatshark any motivation to reward people playing darktide for continuing to play more darktide.
the rewards probably feel pretty nice for a new player to get a head start with.
Iv gotta agree. Its like the x2 exp events in Vermintide. Im like “oh thats nice, but 99.99% useless to me” personally. For new players tho, its a lovely boon.
3500 plasteel is like 3 rng bricked items, 220k dockets is like 1 decent base you can fish for if you’re lucky.
10k plasteel and maybe 500k dockets would give you a few rng rolls to make ONE decent item (still if you’re lucky).
fatshark sucks at rewarding their player base, the worst thing to see aside from this event is players ITT agreeing with devs that are wrong.
Where did they say that?
Because there are cosmetics we can buy in the game with dockets, just not the “Premium” stuff. Don’t get me wrong, some of the stuff in the dockets cosmetics shop is pretty legit.
Can’t remember, but I remember hearing it somewhere though around the time of launch.,
The issue there is that they’re all just different mashups and recolors of the same handful of basic outsourced elements produced by Adia Digital, and nothing has been added to those since they were introduced a year ago.
The question being…for a game that can’t get half a percent of its sales base online, how many new players are there?
