imagine getting fed a spoonful of feces and thanking the people that did it.
that is what this post is functionally doing.

FS posted a survey asking for direction in helping them do better and people are still posting bitter comments about it lol
and those are the civilized ones, you should read some of the stuff on steam.
No one should read steam forums.
Man if you’re expecting literally zero people to be dumb and overly salty on an open forum when they start feeling buyer’s remorse I don’t know what to tell you. Again, these complaints aren’t the majority response lol
They are very common.
Read this one, and pay attention to how he/she says “first review” is even planning on opening more accounts.
Well the OP not the one specific reply it links to, that shits just crazy
Playing, but much less frequent in 2023, waiting for some updates I am interested in (loot drops, crossplay, freedom in mission selection).
280 hrs, since pre-order Beta, all classes lvl 30.
As for gameplay complaint, do not have too many considering gameplay, which for me is “in-mission”, but many around it, basically most of Mourningstar time is wasted and annoying. Main culprits resulting in my diminishing interest:
On the good side on Mourningstar, Meatgrinder and weapons stats evolution from previous tides.
Have you left a review?
Honestly don’t even know how you interpreted OP this way. Pretty sure they mean “first ever steam review”.
One thread where only the OP is arguably suggesting to review bomb the game? This is a pretty big reach tbh. Nobody else in that thread is taking OP’s point and being like “Ah yes, I agree, I will also leave a bad review”. Most of the people in the thread, if they’re replying to OP at all, are telling him to calm down.
I’ll say what I said to the other guy, if you’re expecting zero people to be dumb and mad on a public forum I don’t know what else to say to you.
A choice is what they’ve given us with the RNG shop. Instead of forcing trash on us to throw away with the occasional good item to keep, they show us a pile of trash with the occasional good item to pick from.
Yup and I will surprise you it was a positive one, with 2 caveats though:
Still for me 40 bucks for 120-150 hrs of great time I had initially is worth the price, thus positive review.
Yet I understand many ppl see it differently and as mentioned many have issues playing it due to technical difficulties.
Also like Lovetruffle said, there is a survey on the launcher, you all should take it if you haven’t done so, its a few clicks.
I don’t know or see where the OP of this topic is actually saying that he is creating more accounts to write more negative reviews on Darktide.
I guess you just misunderstood what he wrote. I’m pretty sure he meant that it is his first ever negative review on a steam game and not specifically the first review for darktide implying that he will write more with different accounts.
But as you seem to misunderstand alot of stuff I can stop wondering about your replies.
I disagree on that, not gonna fight you for it though
Problem with the shop is that it is universal (everyone has the same stuff) and you need to be there at the right time to find the gems.
I prefer being rewarded for my success (mission completion for example) instead of idling at the kiosk.
I honestly got better items from rare Emperor’s gift than from the shop.
As I mentioned, I do not want the shop gone, but it might be a decent complimentary source. I would personally like to see more drops from missions and better Melk items.
Additionally, when you level up, we should be getting weapons we “unlock”, it is the best time for leveling players to actually try out diffrent gear and maybe have their favorites .
So can we all agree on these?
The game is incomplete in the following areas: Free Cosmetics/Crafting/Missions
The current skins on the store and pricing, seem unfair, and a slap in the face to a lot of players.
The RNG system is not really there, crafting might fix some of this, but the merchant inventory is still not enough.
More rewards at end of mission, or sources of equipment.
Classes seem a little lackluster in terms of builds/uses.
The gameplay is enjoyable enough despite these issues. But it is obvious that without them getting fixed, the game will not be where it supposed to be, or meet expectations.
While there are prolly hundreds more issues, these seem to be the most common.
I hope we don’t have to deal with the same amount of garbage items jammed on us as VT2. Emperors Gifts being rare and better quality is nice for end of mission drops.
It seems that staying in cohesion with at least 1 more player the majority of the mission, and some other unknown performance factors, decide if u get one or not and quality.
Have you noticed anything else in particular you have done to get them?
I have tried a bunch of different stuff, it seems kills/elites play a role, but it does not have much of an impact on the reward, as staying in cohesion with at least 1 player (any player) like 90% of the mission does.
Not really a pattern I can discern.
I noticed more drops after last patch, but it might be also that I had chars at lvl 30 by then and played Heresy and Damnation mainly, or just more rng… I really do not know.
Yeah… it would be nice to get emperors blessings.
Unfortunately I am closing in on two weeks of getting the emperors blessing pop up at the end of mission screen without the item actually ending up in my inventory.
Kinda butts.
