It is, but it’s also one of the few weapons that has a good feeling, which is the exact point that’s been nerfed.
Power Sword provides way too much killing potential for how little effort it takes to use. Definitely needs a slap on the wrist, though I was thinking they’d make the special action animation much longer to reduce the number of times you can infinite cleave entire hordes.
It has a good feeling if ‘good’ means ‘overpowered’
It made me feel like a sweatlord when i used it
This would have been a far better approach than removing the infinite cleave.
That’s great and all, but no mention of Server stability ? And Server performance ? Because as soon as a horde gets a little intense or during an event, we might as well just add 500 ms to our ping.
Come on, Aqshy.
The timer will remain inactive until the first page is due to be rotated out with 24 hours remaining.
This is worse.
Instead of 7 days of consistent Fear of Missing Out, it’s 24 hours of intense FOMO and requires users to check every day if they want to know when the shop will rotate.
This is literally just another tactic to drive daily logins and pressure people to make hurried purchase decisions under pressure because the store is somehow less predictable now than it was before.
It’s important to note that the store is on rotation to give players some variety while at the same time not creating clutter. We feel that unlimited store pages are likely to create confusion and a bad user experience.
No. I don’t buy that. Nobody does. I don’t even believe that you buy it.
This is a poor attempt to justify the FOMO store model and present it as somehow benefiting the player when it does exactly the opposite.
Making a usable storefront with lots of content isn’t exactly a new problem or one that hasn’t been solved before.
Rest assured, the cosmetics are not gone forever and will likely reappear.
Exactly. Better buy them now though because who knows how long it will be before they come back! What if the next set is worse???
Please, aqshy. This isn’t what the community means when they ask for transparency. This is thinly veiled corporate speak attempting to not only justify your anti-consumer storefront but make it worse and try to convince us that it’s for our own good.
“Player dumber than Ogryn!” - Fatshark, probably.
Make the second heavy attack not a horizontal sweep, so it’s not as good at clearing horde, change one of the light attacks, so it isn’t as good clearing horde too, make the charge animation a bit longer, so it takes a bit more brains to use.
All of them nerfs that would accomplish the same without making the weapon feel worse.
The first one sound like an absolute nightmare when searching for books. If they weren’t randomly distributed and had fixed spots like in V2 then it would’ve been okay. But without premades or randoms that actually listen/are aware that ya could team up with this just seems frustrating in missions with secondary objectives. And I know, I know “dodging hounds is easy!!!11” but mistakes happen and more hounds means higher likelyhood of mistakes.
The second on the otherhand needs clarification. Is the timer for waves shorter? Does it begin DURING a wave in progress? Just more roaming enemies? How does it compare to hi-intensity?
“Running” would be hard when constantly swarmed and more ammo is only good for some classes/builds. So it reads like “Speedrun or get rekt” but speedrunning with MORE enemies just ain’t really possible.
Also a pain with any kind of secondary mission… you really don’t like people going for books, with them also giving less EXP than “low-intensity” mission. More EXP for less things to fight AND no search for random stuff.
Do people really want RNG on attachments now too?
You already have RNG on attachments, it’s called MK VII and MK II
No doubt you guys at Fatshark will take out some deserved Christmas vacation soon, right? If you guys drop an update next week, you need to make doubly sure it won’t break the game over Christmas / New Year.
By the numbers it sounds like it will function roughly the same on T1-T3 difficulties, but it will struggle on T4 and T5 (where it was already questionable against clearing anything but Groaners and Pox Walkers.) So T4 and T5 Vets may have lost their wave clear option.
Where did this come from ?
No one complains about the Vermintide shop do they ?
EDIT: Now that its not in the game take your time i guess, but i dont see why not just use the same system. Any updates are appreciated, keep up the good work
At least thats good to hear.
What happened to Emotes?
You mentioned emotes last week. Did you guys forget about them?
Not sure who said this, but they do realize places like Amazon, Ebay, any sort of Big chain store website/catalogue exists. Lets not forget Steam while we are at it. This truly is just insulting to read.
I already think 60min shop rotation is a ploy to inflate player numbers
If they post about everything on every post these posts would be huge, im sure what was said in the last post isn’t undone just because its not mentioned in this one.
This post focuses specifically on tomorrow’s update, the post you mention was more of a “To come in the next month/s”
Charging is not an option 100% of the time, and without charging, it’s a below average common sword.
I’m really starting to struggle thinking about melee options for veteran. I know sharpshooter is a ranged career, but c’mon, the only thing that can take you out of a bad spot on T5 is the power sword, you have 0 feats that synergize with melee weapons, so everything is very average.
“We do not want to overload your tiny goblin brainz!” is the nicest interpretation I have for this.
The other is our beloved abuse of FOMO.
Wait? This is it?? This is the content we are getting?? A single map, two questionable mission conditions, private parties only if you have someone to play with and a really condescending change to the cash shop? Good lord this is… tragic.
