When will the blacklist work? This makes me incredibly sad and frustrated. It’s been a year now and there’s been no change.
Also give the opportunity to disable cross-play for PC players.

Seriously though, I think that for a lot of people it’s a matter of principle: if consoles have such an option, they’d like to have the same option available on PC.
Secondly there’s a lot of people who think that people playing on consoles and/or using a controller play worse than those on PC. I’ve seen enough bad PC players to think that the problem lies elsewhere, but there’s been some pretty… fiery debates about this already.

All xbox players skill level i’ve seen ranges from “worse then a bot” to “below average”.
If i get an option to not play with people who, in my expirience require me to compensate for their inability to play the game properly, i will use it.
So, no. I don’t hate xbox players. But i will not play with one given the chance, because it’s more work for me.
Edit: Also yeah, why do xbox players get an option to opt out of cross play but we don’t? Did fatshark learn nothing from 14k aquillas fiasco?

It’s not the people, it’s the controller.
I have occasionally spectated console players when I was waiting rescue and it’s painful to see how difficult it is for you guys to track enemies.

There are some real nerds who genuinely think because you’re on xbox that automatically means you’re bad. Or try to say BS like “hurrr controller bad” my brother uses a controller on PC and it is a non issue, in fact he’s better than most people on here I’d wager. Anyway yeah there definitely are some total nerds that just take this game that seriously. Meanwhile they were also crying about a low player count. I personally dont care at all, platform is irrelevant. Just be a decent player

Xbox players can use M+KB. You’ll never know if you’re playing with a PC Gamepass player or an Xbox Player. I’ve personally seen some excellent GP/XB players and some truly awful PC players.
Everyone has a different tolerance for the skill level of others. If you can’t handle that someone isn’t as good as you (for whatever reason), get in a premade or get fwends.

Maybe I’m not on the latest version, but for me it only differentiates between Steam and Xbox/Gamepass.

Unironically yeah. I don’t care enough to actually disable cross play if that was a thing, the recent director changes mean I’m still a Heresy scrub, but the option should be universally there

Pretty much sums it up.
Since the console release I’ve met a single (1) xbox player that managed to reach numbers of an average to okay auric damnation pub player.

I think many Xbox /controller players forget to up their sensitivity to actually be able to target things quickly. Was a similar issue with V2. You could tell the new folks by how fast they would turn around to face a threat behind them lol. But it’s cool, I was just curious. And yeah, I think the fix is, if you don’t want “bad players “ on your team, it’s the same as any other game, get a premade.

Well it’s true though. I have a friend who switched to Controller to play comfortably on his big screen and there is a remarkable drop in efficiency and clutch potential. The guy plays VT2 Cata for casual fun.
You do not have the same amount of control with a controller compared to keyboard+mouse.

I wrote it quite clearly in the post.
- BL must work! If I want to add a person to the blacklist, this is my right and the reason for this is completely unimportant and you don’t even need to know this.
- Crossplay must be able to be disabled! Moreover, MS and boxes have such an opportunity.
Both of these options should be in the game.
And there is no need to move conversations to other topics or look for reasons and argue against these functions for these far-fetched reasons by you.

‘Worse than a bot’ encompasses a HUGE part of the community, PC or Xbox. Bot’s don’t wander off to play Dora the Explora, bots also won’t die if they let go of the W key for .00000001 seconds, don’t don’t think marking the Daemonhost as you circle around it means ‘walk up to it and stick your thumb up it’s butt’
Back in VT 1/2, the bots were actually better than a good 80% of the randos I was subjected to.
