What 10 weapons? There was actually only 1 new weapon. The Zealots Power Maul. The Ogryns powermaul was already in game (it’s the same with the shield version) and everything else is just a reskin with changed stats. I’m sure they will also drop a couple of Laspistol, Revolver and SMG reskin variants (with 1 or 2 crippling “features” like a low mag capacity or zero stagger or something for MUH BALANCE) and say omg guys looks at all those NEW weapons.

Where is the long las, the melts, the Hellgun and the Hellpistol, the Bolt pistol, the Powerfist, etc.
Why are people excited for a literal port of a miniboss we fought 1000 times in Vermintide? At best that should have been in-game from day 1.
That was a really late addition. It was available for mod users rather quickly though.
There was a post a while ago from some poor console player that pre-purchased the game way before launch. That’s one way of activating Fatsharks trap card…
It was part the promotional material pre-launch. It’s not so much people hoping for a spawn, but rather expecting one to be in the game.
No it was in from the start. Later on they added an interface to the character select screen to select your bot priorities, but from the beginning they used the last career you had played on a particular character, including their selected loadout and skills.
The game is already on PC GamePass. I reckon it will be available in Xbox GamePass on day one too. If they deliver crossplay at the same time, it can work well.
I honestly can say my expectations were not low enough. Again. Somehow. I was attacked on an unexpected angle - the meta approach of not even having a comms-link to tease the dissapointing changs.
I wouldn’t call that full control over your team comp (until mod/QoL update). If you wanted decent bots prior to that, you go and change the non-active characters manually all the time. I, for one, never used the same setup for myself as for the bots and if I went for QP I didn’t want to be stuck with one of the bot setups.
The version we got at launch was still better than DT though (since the DT equivalent doesn’t exist).
I know it’s mod related but we also had Loadout manager letting us save loadouts as “bot override” from pretty early in the game so in practice any manual fiddle was circumvented by any pc players who cared about their bot loadout.
Yeah, that was part of my original reply. We had access to it if we used mods. The “vanilla” version was really bad until it was updated a few years later.
Like most people (I played with) I used pretty much all the QoL mods in VT2.
Spent about 5k plassteel last night to try and get a good Lawbringer and got nothing, think that’s the straw to break the camel’s back for me. Literally got like 5 suppressing fire or whatever blessing suppresses people at cllse range kill in a row. Was hoping this comm link would give a bit of excitement to keep playing but obviously that didn’t happen.
Speaking of reused animations, anybody keeping track of many have been reused from VT? I get it’s part of the same series and devs reuse assets all the time but it seems like a bit of a red flag when there are so many and they’re so noticeable.
