As usual, your side is making nonsensical excuses for cheating and trying to muddy the waters by claiming absolute subjectivity where there is far, far less.
If it makes you feel any better, you’re not alone as the number of and type excuses made for the severe BF6 bug exploit cheats are basically mirrored there, even after the devs confirmed them as bug exploits.
It’s almost hilarious watching people twist themselves into pretzels trying to rationalize all cheats there as they do here. Every old moldy and dusty excuse is brought out of retirement as it is here to try to justify their antisocial behavior, the latest one being “cRy MoRE”.
Oh, and I’ve been doing a little informal poking-poll, and as expected the cheaters and their simps lean to one side of the ideological spectrum, it’s very telling.
By far the most alarming thing is the level of apathy demonstrated by the younger crowd, they are happy to be farmed by and play with cheaters without ever speaking out.
This…is scary, and you don’t need a sociology degree to figure out what changed and why that’s very, very bad.
P.S. And I just saw, a fix partial temp for one BF6 exploit cheat (weeks late), cue silence from the “WoRkInG As InTENded” crowd
Oh, I see where you’re confused, the little blue draggy thingy click and hold click (left) on it and move mouse up and down, maybe write a mod to do that for you.
So using this thingy, you can read earlier posts that others made! You may be shocked to learn that you replied to those. Turn that 391 to a 190, sadly our current tech level doesn’t permit me to have some kind of link to it directly.
We all know that nothing will come from this discussion.
In fact, the topic itself is just a bait to begin a flame war on the topic “cheating or not cheating, this is the question”.
Also, mod policy is clear. Several don’t want to understand it. But they don’t even want a clarification or even a change. No… they just want a flame war on this topic.
This thread is simply pointing out that the problem lies with wallhack cheats.
However, some people are making confusing arguments and dragging unrelated mods into the discussion, which only causes more confusion.
Even after the 20th, you’ve done nothing to address even a single cheat mod, that’s also your responsibility.
It’s fine if you want to discuss things internally, but how long does it take to remove mods that are clearly cheats - wallhacks, aimbots, speedhacks?
Half a year? A year? Ten years?
What’s the spiciest topics I’ve seen on a forum?
Religion? Politics? No, it’s three things: Fix the crafting system (done!), make Darktide women attractive, and ban this mod.
This is what really matters, so I’ll take it upon myself to fix it. That’s right, I’m running for prime minister of Sweden, and I promise two things: First, to ban this mod, second to make Darktide sexy!
whenever even briefly thinking about chasing the “k/d dragon” again I take a look at how bad it’s in my would be go-to games and boy did I nope out on bf6 fast
tarkov was the last I did for a friends sake even though the snails pace put me off, but getting downed by a low life radar user, seeing your skeleton through the map and gear drop….
the only thing I’d want to “drop him” was a terminal disease
good thing I had my tournaments analog back in the day, via lan party most of the time, so the perp could be dealt with “physically”
well, I came for the first but stay for the later, do go on, you got my vote
For real though, I’ve taken a break from Darktide but keep peeking at this thread to see how absurd it gets. I tried the cheat UI mods for special detection: spidey sense, special counter; Nothing through walls, but still clearly an unfair advantage.
I think they all work within normal sound-cue ranges. I dropped them all because of visual clutter. Now prefer mods that reduce noise. The one that turns off all banter and radio chatter is so good. Less is more. Unlike Vermintide 2, Darktide has both too much visual and audio clutter. The dialogue is so annoying and constant.
However, with the game’s clutter and most players just relaxing after work and unable to focus, is it really bad if teammates see specials through walls? I personally don’t care as long as it doesn’t trivialize the game. In a PvP game, seeing through walls spoils the game, but in PvE, I’m not too concerned.
