Excuse the repetition please, but until Fatshark amends this issue, no doubt there’ll be people complaining about it.
Many times and most recently whilst playing an auric maelstrom, the trapper’s net came flying through a mass horde, including many crushers, bullwarks and even a monstrosity, without any significant warning.
Absolutely wrecks the otherwise brilliant gameplay when a trapper’s net does that.
Amongst that chaos, you can’t even hear her net gun go off to time a dodge, and definitely can’t see the net coming at you until it just materialises the other side of the above mentioned horde which is in very close proximity. By then it’s way too late. It’s annoying AF ![]()
Simple fix would be to just make it so that trapper can’t shoot unless there’s a direct line of sight between her and you, or at least only be able to shoot it through smaller enemies so that you’re able to see the net coming, and at the same time knocking those smaller enemies down briefly, kind of like the Muties charge does when they storm through a crowd.
Hounds are the same, they shouldn’t be able to pounce through other larger enemies. It’s like the laws of physics don’t exist whatsoever.
Also, when hounds pounce, I doubt I’m the only who’s noticed this - they can sort of glide towards you if you side step out of the way. I don’t mean dodge, but you’re clearly out of their straight line pounce path. It’s as if they have a guidance system strapped to their head and can change course in mid air
