It's a TRAP!

Issue Description:

Almost all the time I was trapped it happens when u locked inside the horde, so u cant move, and trapper standing in 10 meters behind like 20-30 horde trash and shoot his scum directly through like a 20 models. This is ridiculous, u cant dodge because u locked in u can’t hit this scum because he is behind the horde…

Steps to Reproduce:
This is needed to be fixed, and there is an easy way to solve this, just make effective range of trappers in a reach of melee…

I guess to made it possible will be needed much m0re efforts then just descres effective range…

yes but what you propose would reduce too much the threat of trappers…
And as they manage bullets that can’t go through enemies / walls, they can do the same for the nets

Hold down the left mouse button, all the enemies in a straight line will die …

You know, the vast majority of weapons in this game are not very good, more suitable for playing in 1 ~ 3 difficulty. And some of the high strength weapons, you can easily solve your dilemma, 5 difficulty these high-intensity weapons are almost a must … If you have not installed the scoreboard mod recommended to install it, you can see a huge gap in the performance of different weapons

With the current completion of the game, VETERAN > ZEALOT > PSYKER > OGRYN, PSYKER and OGRYN have a large number of perk that do not match the weapon.

Bro you’re just way off the story, I got like 200+ doned Hi-intence Damation over my back with every class, with every weapon, 130+ of which are on record on youtube. So your brilliant meta kinda not in the right plase…

And just for u to know right completion is ZEALOT > PSYKER > OGRYN > VETERAN

why are you posting this in bugs. its not a bug. the only bug with trappers is when they shoot through physical walls like fences. they already have the programming for ogryn grenade launchers not going through fences all they need to do is add that onto trapper nets and they are perfect. quit trying to ask for trapper nefs because you dont know how to dodge a net in a horde

Dodging a net from a trapper that you cannot even see (because they are hiding in the middle of a horde) is not as easy as you make it sound.
Nets should not be able to go through other mobs (or walls, fences etc.), period.

Agree, the net should not go through the horde, it makes no sense at all.
Neither dogs or mutants, or at least they should push away all enemies in their way.

Coz as for me this is a bug, shooting through hords walls, other type of units, terrein ets. is a bug, and I have an easy solution

This is clearly intended behavior.
Trappers like all specials pinning you down are a punishment for bad positioning or lack of awareness. Possibly both.

You saw the screens=? You think this is normal and not a bug when you got netted from kilometer distance + through horde? Just a behavior?

At least packmasters made more sense with them poking a stick through a crowd to grab you Three Stooges style.

THIS. anyone here asking for trapper nerfs seriously needs to learn to play. use your ears and you wont have any issues. most of you saying trappers are getting you in the middle of hordes must be deaf

I agree with what you say… but I really think that a net that goes through enemies or walls is not logic.
They need to correct it.
They could even make trapper harder by reducing the time between the sound and the moment when trapper launch his net. That’s not a problem for me.
But, while I think they must not tweak the range of the net, they must also make it that it can’t go through things (enemies, wall, obstacles).

This problem affects ALL enemy types NOT just the trapper and it has been present in Vermintide games also. Getting hit with range fire, nets, pounced on by hounds, getting hit by enemies standing in other enemies hitbox (such as Bulwarks), getting hit by Crusher overheads through other enemy models. You name it, we have it all.

Not really. It’s about weapons having different strengths. This is a 4-player Co-Op and players have to support each other to succeed. We’re not playing 4 one-man armies that can do everything by themselves.

Don’t get boxed-in in the middle of a horde. I don’t mean to sound like a jerk here, but this is something players need to learn to play around instead of nerfing it to the ground.

Sure, sometimes we see instant horde spawns, but then hopefully you or one (or more) of your mates brought a good wave clear weapon and you were smart enough to stay in coherency.
