Xbox Series X Hard Crashes

As stated in the title, my Xbox Series X has a tendency to hard crash when I play darktide. By this I mean the entire console shuts down, as if someone pulled the plug. This has never happened with any other game.

I’m getting a bit worried about this issue. I instantly restart the console when this happens reconnect and keep playing. I’m not sure if thats the best course of action. I dust the Xbox regularly with hoover/compressed air but have never taken it apart.

These hard crashes will happen about 3 times over a four hour play session. Has anyone experienced this before? Do FatShark have any advice? What should I do, I’m afraid I’ll damage the console playing Darktide?

Happens to me too, and everyone i play xbox with. the game needs help on console

Thats good to know, I was getting really worried and was considering opening up my console to dust the internals

A conventional crash would simply return you to the dashboard, which implies this may be hardware-related. Is the console adequately ventilated?
