It doesn’t feel great that it doesn’t help at all in Lone Monster encounters.
Fury gained on
-
damage dealt
-
damage taken
-
damage blocked
(Not my idea, just throwing down stuff I’ve seen suggested in a list)
I don’t understand the point of getting the bonus when a Monster is dead. Unless you manage to kill it during a horde or so, you just waste the Activation.
Moreover it’s a Righteous Fury so it makes more sense, if a Monster is around, it just increase for the presence of it.
and while were at it, give it like 2-3% max hp dmg on hit, so he does a little boss dmg with fury (without buffing it against anything else)
While I fundamentally disagree with being able to conciously activate Righteous Fury, the mechanic should be tied to the R button, just like Sienna when she wants to remove overcharge.
Honestly, I find Righteous Fury to activate just fine on cata in hordes, but on lower difficulties I could see how it could be a problem due to the lower enemy densities. I’d suggest lowering the decay rate so that it’s easier to carry overcharge between fights.
I think the ‘R’ button is reasonable. Can’t accidentally waste it that way. The problem with manual activation is that you’d make the meta develop around stockpiling righteous fury.
