Can you explain how you think it’s cheating? For example for seeing other people’s exact ammo and health I think this is exceptional especially if you are just doing public games, as its much easier to see who needs a med station or ammo pickup, even if you don’t want to talk with others in game. Yeah they’re unnecessary advantages other players can’t replicate if they’re too tech illiterate to drag and drop downloaded files/own a console (basically the same thing). But its also a horde killing game where people unplug and kill lots of stuff. So I don’t really care, and also do it myself…

You can even use the Vortex (Nexus) Mod Manager to do updates semi-automatically even for free version (edited for clarity).
