when the game came out and I’d have several crashes to finish one game and take several minutes to reconnect. I’ve always muted and quit lobbies with anti social behavior, I just don’t have the time or energy to indulge that ilk anymore. All they want is a reaction, so forcing them to play with bots is a swell solution.

The lack of awareness on that lobotomite has me dumbfounded. Either that or they bully someone else for their own shortcomings. Don’t know which is worse but anyways.
I’ve had plenty of bad player call me useless even tough I had several times better stats than them etc but I don’t think I had someone so totally wrong.
I’ve had plenty of runs that were only a success because I was in that game. Almost every time the others recognize that and thank you for carrying and similar. Most people just say GG and very rarely do they say nothing.
But that? Blaming the very guy that saved that run, single-handedly. Crazy.
If you ever see me do that, rewoke my gamer license and fast.

i distinctly remember some ogryn planting his shield in the smelter end map, right in the leftmost corner, and probably watching keenly through his visor as the rest of the team smacked the corruptors.

It’s either people hating me and my friends for being russian or that one time a guy was screaming into the mic for kicking him 7 times from the game for speedrunning, but that was funny af, have no idea how did he rejoin everytime tho

The “worst” is almost every single Auric quickplay currently. But here is the funniest one:
Around a year ago I backfilled an Auric mission (train station assassination), there was a Psyker wearing prison garbs and using duelling sword only, mostly light attacks. Nothing else. No ranged weapon, no abilities, no blitzes, no dodges, no pushes, no blocks, nothing.
During the objective waves he just stood next to the enemy spawn door and spammed light attack, which got him killed in like 5 seconds. What’s more funny that other two guys were pretty good and while wecarried him there was a complete silence in the chat. Nobody said a single word about this dude dying ~10 times.
I legit think he was trolling, because it is not humanly possible to be that bad at this game. I also checked his steam profile, he had 200+ hours and for some reason played on EU server despite being from Canada.

This, this is literally the entire reason why I quit pubs on Darktide… 90% are dogsht. It’s just the truth.

Bad players don’t bother me that much tbh, but bots? I’ve seen a single bot eating 3 medicae charges like a greedy mfer while 2 other players were starving to get some health.
When it comes to interactions with other players, this is one that stuck with me. I’ve had some dumbass once ask me in VC “Why is your character dark-skinned?” In a really awkward manner like bro was too incompetent to hide their racism. That one was weird but a lil funny in hindsight.

Lol, when my Ogryn was auto-generated, he looked like Eugene Robinson to me (awesome musician). I decided to leave him as he is and named him Eugene, and indeed there were some people not liking my Ogryn being dark skinned XD

I run into such players regularly (although never saw them being in the group), and this is the funniest part about garbo rushers. The whole “bro I rush forward to take out priority threats bro I clutch bro” narrative crumbles when you open the scoreboard and see that I usially take out 2-3 times more Elites and Specials as a karkin Ogryn. Oh, and don’t forget about them spam pinging the elevator/checkpoint door while you hold off a Crusher/Rager/Mauler clowncar 10 meters behind. I think there was some sort of “power player” guilde on “how to carry NPCs” that uses the same karking knife + revolver + loner + stealth loadout.
I do, however, blame shift+w Knife Zealot gameplay entirely on Fatshark. This crap should not have been in the game in the first place.

How did you manage to find the “correct” answer to an open question?
All the times I needed 1 mission without player deaths and I couldn’t launch a mission solo.
Or the 8 runs trying to get the 10 kills into the mid even fans just to have some randy press the 2nd button even though I kindly asked not to 50billion times…
That happened to me too. Dude apologized and didn’t even know what the buttons do.
I tried to do it in T1 and T2 and that was probably the misstake. Those guys didn’t seem to have either text or voice chat open.
1st try doing it on T3 and everyone was on board.
I told my guys in text in the lobby, repeated before jumping down in the crater, and got an ok both times. He genuinely didn’t know what the buttons do.
