Personally, i dont really like quick run. Not because of inefficient or something else, just because i play Vermintide to SMASH the enemies. I WANT IT! If i don’t see a total kill of ~1000 rats added up between all 4 players, than it was a boring play. I don’t care about green circle, i only want to kill and kill and kill.
So for me no quick run :stuck_out_tongue:

Have melees/ranged/anything clear the front and Sienna just turn around while running to clear anything from behind. Super easy with fireball staff.
Next question.

That might be the only legitimate reason to take it slow or turtle. Regardless with my current seed a normal legend run always ends with everyone of us getting around 30-50 elite kills each so we’re fine for now.

If movement of one deviates from majority - that just provokes game director to spam specials. No one wins from that - so best solution is adjust to common pace or leave otherwise.

So… you only can run if other make the dirty deeds. :+1:t3:

Sometimes people are looking for art, runes or doing achievements - there are plenty of reasons to slow down - but it’s healthy attitude to warn team mates in advance about your plans weather it’s running or searching.

Yeah absolutely. It’s not like every single pub game I play I have to babysit everyone. Or you know, the basic principle is that you have 3 front/1 back to cover for stragglers/chasers. It doesn’t matter who’s the frontline. What matters is that everyone in the team can carry themselves. That’s the best kind of team play. Once someone is unable to carry themselves it falls on you to assist in that. Not that hard to figure this out really.

Very clear, you can’t run alone

Well sure, but than you can’t do QP and complain that other guy doesn’t want to play slow. Just imagine, you get guy who wants to go 3 times slower than your pace. What are you going to tell him ? Are you going to go 3 times slower just because he wants to take breaks and look around and examine dead ratmen ? I doubt it.

Not sure if you are trolling or just “slow”. I’ll leave you be so I don’t get dragged down to your comfort zone.

when you say ‘just slow and inefficient’ I want to show you that you are not fast and efficient without them

OMG check their Twitter - it might help

At this point I very much doubt there’ll be another beta period, if they had another one it wouldn’t give them much time to make adjustments between then and the launch in early August. Hopefully the period since the last one and now was well put to use.

I also get the impression they want the minotaur and new map to be a surprise to us come launch (apart from the teasers on their Twitter).

The next beta will be when the new version goes Live.

So it looks like the answer to my question “will Xbox see this update before 2020?” is a hard “No”. :broken_heart:

Or, rather, not caring about the circles mean I care about my team survival and performance and not having to prove that I can solo it.

Considering your attitude, I doubt I would like to play with your team. I may be wrong.

Silvah would probably leave you behind. You can’t keep up, mate.

It depends on the team. While I personally do go a bit away sometimes, I think the major part of the game is knowing where the rest of the team is, which includes both the ones that are too slow or too fast. However, I will always try to wait for the slow ones and whoever dies ahead because of rushing and not paying attention to the others dies because of not paying attention to the others.

Some people are just not as good as you in this game yet. Those people are slower, and reduce your map clear speed. But if you quickplay, you should bloody accept that. Nobody started out being good at this game. When you quickplay, you simply will get matched with people below your skill level, especially when you are at the level of some of you. See playing with them as a learning opportunity, see if you can try to guide them, protect them, and make the challege “letting them be better players at the end of the round” instead of finishing the map quickly.

This is still a social co-op game in nature. There is no problem with wanting a bigger challenge where you need a team at the top of their game, and you can’t have any lesser skilled players around. Those things can be fun, and make up some of the best memories I have of this game. But just use deeds, or mods, or personal challenges, or whatever for that! Not quickplay! If you join a quickplay match and then get bothered because your teammates are lagging behind and adopt an anti-social playstyle like leaving your team behind, you’re a [word this forum will probably not let me post]. Just solo a private game with bots if you need the chests, or use a a pre-made group if you need the kick of fast clear speeds.

Be a bit more relaxed, care less about clear rate and speed, care more abour the gameplay itself, and care about making others enjoy the game and be better at it, and you’ll have way more fun and less frustration. Still think quickplay is too easy and playing with noobs sucks? Well don’t quickplay then!

No problemo! I have a big war hammer.
