Wild speculation about content part 2

As noted in the title we know what we are generally getting for content part 1 so let’s maybe throw out some wild speculation for pt 2.

Crafting update part 3/4/whatever we are on - generally would explain part of why it’s being kept so hush hush, may not want to reveal that it’s another crack at a crafting overhaul.

Endless Gamemode - big thing that is requested fairly often, would also fit with a lot of the ideas since it would be a new quest in a new area

New Weapons - considering the area we are going into I wouldn’t be surprised if we got sone less than standard weapons. The double barrel shotgun was data mined previously and would fit pretty with the new theme. Apart from that maybe some home grown pattern of weapons or some normally hyper illegal weapons that imperial agents can use

New Class - generally feel like this is on the Uber low end of the chances od happening but it would also open up two new themes: a Arbite character focused on support and active tanking and/Or a scum character based on stealth, deception, and underhanded tactics

We don’t even know if new archetypes are even envisaged, and if they are, they won’t come any time soon.

Fair, I mostly intended it because you never know.

As stated it’s on the super low end of the chances but it would fit within the theme. On top of that it wouldn’t be the first time inquisitors employee gang lords or pirates as acolytes.

I mean it’s more of a mechanical stand point.

Archetypes are not a small content drop (3/6 VA, new cosmetic line up, full tree…)

And this early after the tree update ? Quite unlikely.

For things that aren’t that outlandish we could see:

  • New enemies
    → Plaguebearer
    → Sorcerer
    → Psyker
    → Herald
    → Toxgryn
  • New weapons:
    → Variants
    → Pairings
    → leaked weapons
  • Commissary update
  • Penance Update

Mirror classes on nurgle side. Plague zealot plague ogryn moebian guard veteran and sorceror of nurgle. Redo all the missions as nurgle cultists. Not gonna happen but i can dream.

I guess maybe another mission in the carnival zone and some balance changes that brick peoples weapons and builds.

At least vet will get some weeks of brokenness with the skill tree overhaul and new keystones.

I think we’re getting weapons, 2 new maps (I assume thays what the landscape pictures are on the bottom) a new mini boss and an acutal uniqie assassination target.

Pure speculation besides the weapons. Some people think that the previewed weapons have red stuff thay indicate red weapons or crafting changes but thats a bit too tin foil hat for me. It’s not possible but theres nothing to really point to that rn.

You have too much confidence in them, I think they can only add some task for Color-changing outfit.

We will probably just see a second map with a new boss or something.

While I’d love to see it, I high doubt commissary will see any updates outside of slight reskins of what’s already in there.

This thing in the trailer is a giant gladiatorial arena.

In that arena we will fight the sloppity bilepiper which is the most “Carnival” like of a nurgle unit

This update will also introduce nurglings at the same time as they are thematically in line with the ‘comical’ side of nurgle and hang out and “cavort and joke” with sloppity bilepipers.

P.S

Expect some new insane Jesper Kyd track featuring the bile piper’s bagpipes. They couldn’t have this track in the trailer because it would be too much of an obvious clue that we will be fighting a bile piper.

i think a new archetype and some weapons

we have always been able to create 5 characters but there’s only 4 archetypes. the 5th could well of been planned from years ago just didn’t have time/resources to finish it.

likewise their are some weapons conspicuous in their absence

It’s certainly possible. We’ve seen similar dual-wielding combos in Vermintide 2.
