If by rebalance you mean completely delete, I’m all for it. Its the perfect solution - eliminate one big problem and you end up solving a whole lot of little problems too. No more having to hear whiny twits crying about how “X is broken! NERF IT” when the actual problem is that X was balanced around a elites & specials being, well, elites & specials not garden variety disposable trash mobs. No more having to worry about decaying rank because the population has declined to needing server merges level, etc. Heck it might free up enough resources that maybe after the new pay-to-not-get-nerfed class launches there might actually be a truly new map with a really new scenario. A defend against a horde perhaps? Maybe a real infilrate-and-hold for those who want something that makes the brain work.
I keep saying it and it keeps getting ignored. Havok is taking all the wrong ideas from WoW’s Arena and slapping them onto PvE. Then wondering why it. Does. Not. Work. The answer is that no matter how many times you try it, no matter how much snowflake “We are SPECIAL, WE CAN DO THIS!” self-talk is done, a stupid idea will always be a stupid idea and it will always fail. At this point I expect we will start seeing timed trials, maximum-death allowed runs, etc in the not too distant future. Assuming it survives that long.
