OK, I have an official statement now, especially to reply to people who were asking why now?

This is something we weren’t doing before, but as we’ve released on more platforms, we want to ensure we have a cohesive age-rating compliance across our platforms. This is what led to the change.

That said, when we were applying these, Germany and Austria were two of the regions where more restrictions were incorrectly applied than necessary. Those will be rolled back at our hotfix on Dec. 5. From there, it’ll be the same experience, but ragdoll interactions will be turned off.
