We are aware of an issue in which Gore has been disabled for those playing Darktide in Germany and Austria.
This will be addressed in our hotfix releasing on December the 5th, however, ragdoll interactions will remain disabled. More information can be seen here:

Existing reports may be merged here, to help us keep track of the issues being reported.
Apparently, region restrictions were added with the most recent patch 1.5.11 that remove blood decals, gore (gibbing), visible wounds, and interactive ragdolls. This might be enforced for Austria, Germany, Japan, and probably other applicable countries.
Looks like the Xbox version of this file has been there for a while, with only rag dolls affected, but I haven’t looked hard to see if that was actually implemented/enabled.
This makes no sense for Germany and Austria (don’t know enough about Japan to comment). Germany used to be quite strict about gore in video games, but that’s not been a thing in at least 10 years now. There was never a problem with Darktide’s gore in Germany.
Austria has never had any issues with gore in video games. In fact, when Germany still had their infamous ban list, you could get all of those games in Austria, uncensored, because we usually received the European version. Sometimes, however, we got lumped in with the Germans and received their censored content. Guess that happens when you ignorantly or lazily just treat it all as one locale - I wonder how Fatshark would feel if Sweden, Norway, and Denmark were all just considered the same locale.
I don’t know what happened here, but this can’t come from governments or official regulations. It must be a misunderstanding or mistake on Fatshark’s part, IMO.
I can understand certain regions having restrictions on the PS5, but it makes no sense for the same restrictions to affect PCs, which have been fine so far. It’s probably a bug. I expect it will be fixed in next week’s patch.
