No gore on the PS5 Pro and PC version.
There is no kind of Gore on the PS5 Pro or PC Version now.
I had gore on PC since launch ans it seems it just got removed with today’s hotfix aswell.
Country (Austria) Gore worked fine since OG launch from 2022.
(Gore option dosent show up on settings)

This change is an insult to everyone who has been loyally supporting the game for 2 years up until now. Please revert it completely, or I will no longer be able to support or recommend this game in good faith.
Changing stuff like this two years into the game is some next level kark.

are you telling me that my game is now censored for no reason at all? i bought it uncensored, i want it uncensored. if you change this after two years and argue about some laws changing in germany, THAT DOES NOT APPLY TO CONTENT ALREADY SOLD… i want a refund.
If your december hotfix doesn’t revert the game back to it’s state it was before you castrated it, i’ll go through steam and will get a lawyer if needed to get a refund. i’ll tell you that.

big fan from austria again. So i already saw your post about the Statement on Region Restrictions. But…all i want is a complete game without any censorship like it was before (ragdolls etc. included). In austria we dont have any laws regarding this kind of censorship…I know i already read about “Salzburg” as well…But cmon…Salzburg is a very small part of austria so including the rest of austria is … well … So i really hope you rethink about that and give me back “for what i paid”… no offense … but plz … do it.

There wasn’t any relevant changes to laws in germany (and probably same for austria) concerning gore in games. Not to mention that Darktide already got approved both for PC and XBox in the state it was pre-censoring about 2 (and 1) years ago.
Now my guess is that since they released it on PlayStation now, either Sony is giving them trouble or they failed to get it approved in the same way they did 2 years ago. I don’t believe it’s the latter since this website here sells it under the USK18+ banner:
So it must be the former, Sony giving them trouble, which lead to this change. Now I as a PC gamer (and many others, including XBox players) have to suffer because of this.
Yes, it’s only a minor thing since they want to revert it back BUT LEAVE RAGDOLLS DISABLED ON DEAD ENTITIES. Not what I paid for, not what i played the last two years.
Yes they have to revert it completely! Otherwise i and many other are …. very …… And me as an austrian dont have any understanding for that move because in austria there are no such laws! And yes i heard Salzburg uses USK but thats a small part of austria! Apart of this we played the game two years without any censorship … I mean wt. ??? Going to see a slashermovie and then they cut out the gore? That makes no sense at all…The gore in this game is importend…because its simply a part of it!
a lot of bad things started as “minor”
personally i dont give them one inch, never did since i began gaming in late 80s.
believe it or not even c64 had some whining about “violence”
digging deep in my memories my first “triumph” was “operation wolf” at the tender age of 8.
but it all blurs together having literally hundreds of copied 5 1/4 " floppy disks in a very short period of time.
commandos and purple heart was equally “evil” 
school yard was a gold mine for anything “forbidden” and trading for stuff had a certain thrill of the hunt to it.
oh and movies, them trashy 80s gore flicks i mostly remember the german title from.
those with a proper name to them i had the 40(!) minute longer version i.e of dawn of the dead.
40 fkin minutes, thats a whole movie missing.
no one cares for only the story when you wanna see blood and guts.
playstation 1 had a neat trick where you put a dowel between the upper lid and the “receptor” making it think to be closed.
you booted with any german game waited for the sony logo to load, stopped the cd with your fingers and put a japanese or us version in.
resident evil one UNCUT intro movie in all its gory-b-picture glory.

maybe a Dev. can answer my question? Will you revert the “censorship” COMPLETELY for austria or not? We DONT have any laws like the germans have. And sry i cant count Salzburg as austria…This is a bad joke right? Austria uses the PEGI “System” AND the game already was completely unsencored in austria AND germany for 2 years !!!. In Germany USK let it through 100%. So how is this even possible to begin with? Either people will use mods or they quit playing the game…I for myself will stop playing. Witch is a shame…because im a BIG fan of your games! But censoring games is absolutly not what i like to see…

With censoring the game FS have opened a wound long thought closed in most german gamers memories.
We hate our video game censorship and thought it to be over just to reel its ugly head again.

It’s not like some law in germany changed forbidding ragdolls suddenly. NOTHING CHANGED in that regard.

Hi, yeah well…live goes on…i truly love the art etc. of their games! But for now…i have stopped playing them…This is more about the principle then anything else…Sry for bad english austrian here. You know austria… PEGI and stuff…NOT USK…btw. i feel with you dear germans…I know the past very well…Wolfenstein…Half Life 1 etc. Im here since the „beginning“.
