If the engines have enough output to cover it then it’s not detrimental. And I doubt those cathedrals are empty space.
WTF who gave you my designs for a pleasure chair? !
Wait.
You designed it? How’d you get in on that number? (please don’t say modding community! )
but you do still have both mass and momentum , armour angles that sort of thing these are meant to be combat ships.
as i understand it the heresy was 10k years ago since then all “design” work has been carried out be fanatical religious zealots, the emperor protects you not the cross guard, the pommel is round to show the omniscience of his awareness, are you questioning his divinity heretic?
that sort of thing.
Wouldn’t be Darktide if cosmetic things didn’t look at least 20% stupid and/or shitty. Bonus points if it is also broken in some way.
We can justify it by saying that Hallowette buys Chinese knockoffs off of Amazon in-universe.
Here is where I again remind everyone that Call of Duty did 40k cosmetics justice way before Darktide came even close:
I wonder what Hedge would think about that…
Well, power fields would cut anything it contacts, so there’s little opportunity for a sliding contact or bind anyway, the cross guard would mainly be to prevent sniping the hand.
Nope. They wouldn’t.
It’s just the “rule of cool”,
but legs are VERY vulnerable
& even with more armor the pilot is a weak spot (center of mass).
Overall Titans & Mechs sound cool on paper,
but in reality they would get kill very IMMEDIATELY.
Walkers are overall a solid bad idea for warfare.
Doesn’t matter. IF one takes this seriously (which you shouldn’t), ONE(!) shot to the head would be enough… drugs or not…
It’s just, dumb, but it’s fun/WH40K.
So it fine, but don’t pretend it’s not WH40K/dumb…
wait, that’s real? Lol
Maybe it’s because it’s CoD that it still looks goofy and fake to me (it’s not badly modeled or anything, just the layout and I guess uncanny valley of 40k stuff with CoD assets makes it look like a joke).
More like Wish since it takes forever to arrive AND is jank
Stop, stop, he’s already dead!
He died on the way back to his home planet, poor bugger will never live it down.
Sweatshops are immeasurably hot, ruins productivity.
The immeasurable complexity of warp travel claimed him? Oh…
We had Hedge for a long time though, and steering both launch periods of VT2/DT was going to be a disaster either way. There was basically no winning there, and being told to tell people it wasn’t early access but a full fledged game was a joke. At least we have the funny comment takeaways.
Keep the model. Allow zealots to use it. Problem solved.
lol the entire team in charge of designing/releasing cosmetics need to be fired/barred from ever working in the gaming industry again. There I said it. At least Call of Duty and other games put some EFFORT into their microtransactions - some would say more than their actual games.
Yet we are over here being presented with BELOW the bottom of the barrel cosmetics that look like it was an unmotivated employee who’s boss just slept with his wife and he STILL has to come out with a cosmetic or lose his house. That’s what the majority of these cosmetics/reskins/recolors look like.
The problem with hedge wasn’t the message, but how it got delivered.
You don’t want to be condescending if you don’t have anything to show for.
honestly, it might be a linguistic/cultural barrier that did him,
but the acceptance for any kind of banter or jabs where rightfully nil at that point, and not seeing that was a big oversight and gross miscalculation, tho having to pay with your position was quite harsh if you ask me, considering that most of the memorable moments where responses to ill faith or otherwise rude arguments and people.
My thoughts exactly as well
