Red Moon Inn had one right in the middle. Taalās Horn Keep has one but it was out of the way and didnāt mess with the lighting as much, and Mourningstar doesnāt have one at all. Direct correlation between quality of the hub and access to chandelier.
Not me, but itās difficult to care about any of them in the first place, with the exception of Brahms, who looks awesome.
There is currently no plot to flesh out the characters, and it doesnāt (personally) feel like Morrow and the Crew are behind the operations that weāre performing on Atoma because theyāre nothing, but background noise.
On the community we donāt even have someone like Vermintifeās [Janfon1] doing Machinimas for Darktide, no one in the community to enrich the lore and make the gameās characters likeable.
The only type of immersion I get begins and ends with my own RP centered on my character, while Darktide itself fails to provide any basis for roleplay, from the empty-mall-looking Mourningstar to the mission design that is frozen in time.
Fatshark could have āstolenā the War System from Helldivers (Helldivers 2 woop woop) to make it appear as if our operations made a difference and there was some progress in the war rather than being stuck in time which would have given the game a sense of moving forward.
Iād love to experience a real story in Darktide that advanced through updates, but everything feels as they are merely placeholders at the moment.

tbh, iād be happy if you just had a small living quarters, and thereās a terminal that allows you to access everything.

I think the keep also served more of a purpose as it had the testing area for people to see their DPS / Weapon effectiveness that didnāt require a completely separate loading screen. They also understood that the keep should still have a menu so you donāt need to walk to every single area. It also actually displayed your progress with banners and character rooms.
From memory the loading time was also not awful since it wasnāt having to load into a server instance every single time.
Even then i donāt feel like i would be super upset if it was just a menu.

Except it was not useful enough for proper testing and you did need to load in separate place, a.k.a. MODDED realm to spawn creatures to test stuff there.
I did say that in post down the one you quoted, thatās the only objective difference that is worth pointing out in my opinion.
