In your opinion. Also bonus points for perks and blessings recomendations.
Which I appreciate, isnât necessarily the best build. Just easy.
Donât remember the mark numbers, but still probably the fastest firing one with dum dum and infernus. The other 2 just canât really compete with that, but are still perfectly usable.
I like the MK XII (formerly VId) the best, the rapid fire Torrent variant. The rate of fire allows you to trigger blessing or talent bonuses insanely fast and can quickly burn down nearly anything.
The heavy MKXIV is my runner-up. Itâs better at longer ranges with less spread dispersion, and can penetrate through hordes.
As far as Blessings go, I like Infernus+Headhunter, Dumdum+Deathspitter is also extremely capable.
I dislike the fastest firing one, I think the MkXII, because I find with the muzzle flare itâs really difficult to see if youâre hitting a target, or whether youâve killed one and should move on.
fyi dont use deadshot with fast firing weapons, just get reciprocity instead
tbf - I think youâve said that to me before and I havenât changed the build
VId or II. But obviously thje VId is for me the better.
The VIIa is weak. You canât kill enough fast the enemies. This is really a bad weapon in my experience.
Fixed it
bastard
Why not both?
Objectively, it is possibleâŚ
Either the blue or green one. I prefer the green, I feel it kills flak better. For the blessings I go for dum dum and infernus.
The slower firing harder hitting one the vld I think is the ultimate dependable workhorse
Hits hard enough
Plenty of ammo
Accurate
Headshot machine
The mk2 is great for building for crits and slapping infernius on it and just spraying in the general direction of the enemy
Vlla is uhhhh the mark v columbus disabled relative
I prefer the harder hitting one as well. Again faster firing infernus one is probably better but isnât as fun for me.
Honestly it exists in a state I wish the infantry lasguns existed in currently.
What? Deadshot is great with a pretty good amount of guns? Various ways in the tree to compensate the stamina drain. The original statement you âcorrectedâ was more accurate to my mind.
how are we not using deathspitter here after the vengeful cries for close range to be fixed were finally heeded. gun can actually do M1 or M2 + M1 if its your fancy, basically unheard of for las outside the pistol.
Deadshot is such a dead talent to me (haha), at least for how I play. Sure you can use it and it can be useful but Iâd prefer to get a talent that doesnât have a downside, especially since the end of Vetâs tree has a lot of choices.
As for offsetting the stamina drain, you have the Focus Target one which means you have to run Focus Target () Duck and Dive (which is already competing with reciprocity), Weapon Specialist stamina which I already told you what issues it had, and the stamina regen delay nodes which you should already be getting 1 of anyways.
Iâm not saying itâs unusable. And yeah for stuff like Revolver or Las Pistol it can be decent I just think blessings + reciprocity does the same job better while still letting you be aggressive with melee.

It doesnât work with automatic weapons so I donât care for it
The main issue I personally have with deadshot is that the sway reduction isnât a terribly relevant bonus these days. I havenât used boltgun since U&L dropped but from what Iâve heard it seems it doesnât really need the usability help anymore? It could probably use an additional QoL boost on top of the sway reduction to be a bit juicier.
I like it on revolver, laspistol, at least 2/3 of the shotguns, hellbore, slower firing inf las, and while I donât run boltgun or bolt pistol Iâd at least consider running it on those too. I canât remember how it interacts with the burst fire on the 3 round burst vigilant autogun but nobody uses that gun currently regardless.
Reciprocity is great but it is a touch less consistent or on demand for the guns that donât drain your whole stamina pool instantly with deadshot. Any gun you can get away with hipfiring selectively to preserve stamina itâs good with. The best synergy by far is ghost + duck n dive MF laspistol, you can even squeeze in reciprocity too and really leverage that finesse bonus with extremely high crit chance.
Anyway not really trying to change anyoneâs mind on it here but I do think it at least has a place.
Worst part about it is itâs placement in the tree. It is separated from the stamina regen talents which seems wrong from a design perspective. It should be in either the middle or right tree, ideally next to Duck and Dive.
Honestly I think it couldâve made for a great Keystone basis, a far better one than MMF (I do like MMF but itâs a bit boring) or Focus Target. Gambling spending stamina on bonuses like crit chance, sway reduction, maybe additional stuff like finesse damage, range falloff, ways to get stamina back etc.
Since thats unlikely to happen please at least put it next to Duck and Dive.
