I don’t think that D4 will be f2p, they said something like they’re thinking about doing multiple ways of monetizing. So we will prolly in the end pay for the game and then for cosmetics also Something like is planned here in Vermin.

L4D/1/2 proves otherwise. They will stay longer due to the inherent “randomness” caused by players (bad or good).
Now, it’s another matter if we, veterans of the pve game, like it or not. And that is another matter.

L4D seems to be doing everything 100x better so… I would not bet on Versus producing same results.
