What difficulty is the game balanced around?

Have we had an official statement on this? I’m kindof curious, again.

T3 or T4 at best.
T5 and “above” is just a numbers game. More spawns, more health, coming on a never stopping conveyor belt at the team, hell, trappers are silent because the game literally can’t handle the amount of sounds it produces.

When you load up the psykanium malice is the standard suggestion so I guess malice is the baseline.

Breakpoints and enemies on screen also feel way more immersive on malice then on heresy+

50% stat weapons. So around 250 power whites.

My money is on Malice for a very simple reason: contract completion.

See, I have had to spend a lot of time on that difficulty as of late (helping friends/newbs learn mechanics and level).

The ‘mission completion’ contract completes at roughly the same time as the ‘kill x enemies in y way’ contracts, ditto the resources grabbing ones, when doing Malice runs.

I would also say T3 Malice, because the jump between t3 Malice and t4 Heresy is always the most difficult, and the most evident where people start to die from horde control shortcomings.
