It could, or they could set the Sister on something different than basic Zealotry.
Sisters could be set around the Hospitalier orders (Though healing isn’t something I wish to see), Famulus and Dialogus I don’t really see making sense here, but there is one other major Orders. The Pronatus
Their method stem more from prayer, and the use of Faith magic. Hence here we could see a similar organisation to the Arbites, where all the Sisters would come from the same Order, probably a new local one, probably themed around Messelina.
And having those Sisters have a full Act of Faith system, with Faith being a resource to be used for offences or defence.
Ratling has no purpose in Darktide… that’s not their size, that’s the gameplay associated to them that doesn’t fit the Darktide game.
I would love them, but I don’t see what they could do with them.
Everyone asking for mechanicus should imagine it sliding on its iron butt through the map. How does it look?
Mechanicus are usually immobile unites but pretty tough ones. Most likely it would look like something between Ogryn and constant Castigator’s stance in terms of movement. Not sure if it fits the game outside of havoc which is slow-paced.
My bet is adeptus assassinorum. Just in time when they introduce some Chaos Boogeyman behind all those rituals. Good target for the assassination. But you don’t need many of them, sooo…
Just add old midget non-primaris Astartes. Do it Fatshark.
Rogue Trader could do it so should you
That’s quite reductive to the lore. If you mean Servitors, then yes I’d be inclined in saying such. But Tech Priest and Skitarii have movement ability as Guardsmen do.
And in lore they often have quite good movement abilities, often upgraded enough to be able to walk for much longer.
Do you mean Officio Assassinorum? Those are way too strong and valuable, and most wouldn’t be suited for a Tide game tbh.
Skitarii are not inherently known for their high mobility in the way that some other Warhammer 40,000 units are, but they are not slow either. They are augmented with cybernetics, particularly bionic legs, that allow them to move efficiently across difficult terrain, which is a necessity on Mars, where they originate.
While not slow, Skitarii are not explicitly designed for high-speed maneuvers. Their mobility is more about resilience and adaptability in challenging environments than it is about speed.
I can agree that they are not “human” tanks, but they are still not ass-sliding machines being able to storm through map. I’d still place their mobility close to Ogryn’s
Rather than a Skitarii Vanguard or Ranger I’d rather see minor tech priests. Skitarii infantry are pretty limited and wouldn’t function much differently than the Veteran except less talkative, but a tech priest would have enormous variation in cosmetics, ranged weapons, melee weapons, personalities and philosophies.
Tech Priests are also everywhere in the Imperium as they are absolutely essential for their society to function.
Tech Priests can look almost entirely human or monstrous. Carry weapons in their hands, or servo harnesses or mechadendrites. You could even have Fulgurite or Corpuscarii Electro Priests.
It would also be possible to have combat servitors as companions, but that might be a bit OP.
I don’t know where you got that from but Rangers and Vanguard have the same Movement value as regular humans and in the background have almost unlimited stamina because of their augmentations. Sicarian Ruststalkers and Infiltrators are even faster, more agile cyborg ninjas. The Pteraxii fly. The only “slow” one is that new stilt-boy sniper.
