Hello everyone! I’m new to Darktide and I recently bought both the Arbites and Hive Scum DLCs — and I’m really enjoying the game a lot. The new classes were a great addition and they made me even more excited about the future of Darktide.
As a long-time Warhammer fan, there’s one thing I would love to see in the game: a representative of the Adeptus Mechanicus. I think a Mechanicus-based class (such as a Tech-Adept or a Skitarii-inspired archetype) would make perfect sense inside The game. Their technology-focused gameplay, unique weapons and visual style would bring something completely new to the current class lineup.
Another reason I’m asking for this is because the Adeptus Mechanicus rarely gets proper gameplay representation in Warhammer games. They’re iconic and extremely important in the lore, but we hardly ever get to play as them outside of strategy titles. Darktide feels like the perfect opportunity to change that.
So I would really love if the developers could consider adding an Adeptus Mechanicus-themed class in the future. I believe it would fit the setting perfectly and would be an amazing addition for many fans like me. Thank you.
