What are the Weapons you wish to see in the Game?

Which Weapons would you love to see in the Game? Maybe write down both Lore-accurate ones and ones you’d love to see w/o Lore-Restriction?

For me it definitely would be
Hellgun

Heavy Stubber

Electro Flail (looks more like a Whip but its called Flail)

Rotorary Cannon (Mini-Gun)

2-Handed Chainaxe

Those Force Weapons

Autocannon (and yes Ogryn uses them in Lore; he even got Heavy Bolter in some 40k Games)
Imgur

For different Marks for the Autocannon would love to see something like those  https://youtu.be/GDcGM1FkQQw?si=Xt1gyGXwArKZyPdF

And for Psyker some more Staffs like an concentrated Beam-Staff too

The Heavy Stubber we have is effectively an autocannon imo

In addition to the list you posted, I want plasma pistols, grenade launchers for humans, more staves for psyker, and potentially stuff like a proper long las or stub rifle.

Meltagun, powerfist, dualwield weapons, knuckledusters for ogryn, all the stuff you listed, hotshot volleygun, other stuff I can’t think of right now.

The Heavy Stubber Ogryn has? No. Autocannon is an…automatic Cannon…the one Ogryn has, which he doesn’t even use in Lore, is an semi-automatic ‘Sniper’ Heavy Stubber.
The Twink-linked Heavy Stubber isn’t close either; while it is an automatic fast firing one the Autocannon is one with a lot more punch with each Shot; not as fast firing but a lot more Power with each Shot.

Autocannon would be more like this (Timestamp)

The confusing thing with heavy stubbers is that in real life what the dreg gunners have would be a lmg and what ogryns have would be a hmg but in 40k both are heavy stubbers.

Yeah but doesn’t the Lore also differentiate between the Heavy Stubber and Twin-linked one? And Ogryn only uses the Twin-linked Heavy Stubber whereas Veterans, or whats he supposed to be, uses the Heavy Stubber. But instead we got both on Ogryn and the Heavy Stubber just became an Semi-automatic instead of an…what an Heavy Stubber actually is like LMG for Veteran…that would be so much fun

I don’t know, 40k lore is not very consistent with these weapons.

Yeah we need it! They even have one in the backround picture of the vet skill tree.

Bolt Carbine for Vet(the ‘Angelus’ version that fires Astartes size bolts). Also, flamer, stormbolter and infantry GL for Vet. classic Guard weapons.

Nemesis Force weapon for Psyker, also Force Axe and Force Hammers(both exist in lore). No ‘Beam staff’; it’s a stupid idea.

Hvy Bolter for Ogryn. Give him something to elevate above non-Inqusition Ogryns.

For the Zealot, Stormbolter and Hvy Flamer. Sisters Novitiate kit.

Also, add Plasma Pistol and Hand Flamer.

Stub Automatic

Thus far, Fatshark seems to keep the weapons to a relatively limited level. Veterans for example get weapons you can find in a basic Infantry Squad (which can include bolters and plasma guns and power swords), but not heavy weapons or special-issue equipment like Hot Shot weaponry or particularly exotic bolters. Within that space, about the only thing we’re missing is plasma pistols, Grenade Launchers, and Meltaguns, and with the types enemies we have in game a meltagun largely feels like it’d just be a slower firing and shorter ranged charged plasma gun. Maybe powerfists? That’s something not available to a basic Infantry Squad but is available to many common officers. My issue with a Long-Las is that we already have the Helbore, and most players won’t take a shot over 50m in most games, so where is a Long-Las going to get a chance to really shine?

I’d love to see something like the Gravity Gun from Half Life for a Psyker Stave :star_struck:

Zealot needs a more classical Eviscerator, something that’s hilariously huge and absurdly unwieldy but with huge sweeps and devastating overheads.

That said, we have triple digits worth of weapons in the game already, that will forever have balance issues, adding forever more won’t help on that front

If anything is on the table, I would like the power of WORDS.

Let us talk out our differences with the Heretics. See if we can come to an accord.

You can just hold down the trigger during hipfire though

Those radium weapons they teased in SotO and then sheepishly proclaimed they were ackshyually plasma guns.

A hand covered in digital weapons. It could be anything like a lasgun, melta, plasma, arc, lascannon or flamer blast.

Detpacks. Detonates with the radius and damage of a demolisher round (the big tank-mounted siege cannons) but you can’t throw it further than the blast radius.

Vindicator eviscerator for the zealot, it’s a combi-weapon combined with a flamer.

Enuncia is a thing where you can word things to death as well as a variety of effects. It has some bad side effects too, like corruption or general brain melting.

Veteran:

  • Hunting Lance: Spears with active charges on the end of it, with the active charge being loaded via the special
→ Single target Mark: Use Krak grenades as the special
→ Versatile Mark: Use Frag grenades as the special
→ Crowd Mark: Use Inferno grenades as the special
  • Longlas: Sniper like Lasgun

Zealot:

  • Dual Chain Fists
  • 1h Thunderhammers (All of Saltz’s Skullsplitter Hammers line up, maybe excepting Hammer&Tome)
  • Relic Sword & Stormshield
  • Dual Chain Axes
  • Jakal Evicerator: Evicerator with a handle in the middle and a spike at the end for stabbing
  • Vindictor Flamer: Flamer +Chainsaw working like Grenadier Gauntlet (Ranged Slot with melee attacks on M1)

Psyker:

  • Biomantic Sword: Sienna’s Fire Sword, but set around Biomancy, with Hammerhand and Bioelectricity
  • Telekine Sword: Floating sword controlled in melee range, with the Pysker guiding it with small movement of their hand
  • Telekine Blade: Ranged floating Knives that shoot forward like heavy bullets, and can be charged for various effects:
→ Heavy Mark: Charge the knife to become explosive
→ Middle Mark: Charge the knife to become piercing
→ Light Mark: Charge multiple knives to send as a salvo
  • New staves
  • Biomantic Hammer: Just let us play as Thor, Force Hammer, Biolighting, and Telekine weapon proprieties

Ogryn:

  • Spudjacker: 1h giant Wrench
  • Mace Fist: Spiked Gauntlets
  • 1/2h Flail
  • Power Maul and Brute Shield (Kinda like the Arb’s Shock Maul and shield maybe)
  • Heavy Bolter
  • Heavy Lasweapon: Group of Lasweapons that use the same model (à la Kickback/Rumbler)
→ Lascannon: Work like a heavier/Ogryn Lucius Lasgun
→ Multilaser: Work like a heavier/Ogryn Accatran Lasgun
→ Lascutter: Work like a short beam Lasgun that can be channelled

Arbites:

  • Shock Flail
    → Shock Flail&Shield
  • Excruciator Maul: Another (and last) model of Maul, to set it aside from both Shock Maul and (Dominator) Arb. Maul, could have it work closer to the Relic Power Sword, with a heat/energy system where it shock when active
    → Excruciator Maul&Shield
  • Heavy Stubber
  • Impact Grenade Launcher (Shared with Vet)

Admech:

  • Mechadendrites: Melee weapons with mechadendrites wrapping around the main hand and attacking on the movements of it
  • Arc Pistol/Rifle: Electric gun that can be charged for AoE/Cone explosion

No. Heavy Stubber is basically a semi-auto sniper rifle (unless you enjoy hipfiring with spread profile of the size of the screen). Autocannon is an automatic exposive weapon. Gameplay-wise it could be a mix of the grenade gauntlet and heavy stubber, with less capacity than the latter, no cleave, but added explosive damage around the target and full auto when bracing.

Definitely the LMGs (Hellgun/Heavy stubber), but also Long Las (Scab Sniper’s weapon).
