I… didn’t. Rev latched onto that as a single point after he continually pared down each of my posts to less and less of them in favor of just getting annoyed. I literally mentioned multiple other things in that same sentence he quoted from. Speaking of tiring…

Here it is how you play that will permit you to have enough space in melee…
With a PS, this is easy to create the space.

Contracts need to be entirely reworked.
Objectives require too much time… and also, once you finish your contracts, you cannot continue to earn Merk’s money.

I would prefer a system that reward you each time you complete objectives (completing missions, killing scabs, killing dregs etc.)

True. But there is no ability to close quickly like Chastise the Wicked or Bullrush.

and if you are unlucky you get stunned.
Happens all the time, happens to the best of us…

Power Sword or not.
You can only fight in the front of you.
That why I thin hordes from the edges & circle them as a Vet.

I never go “in”.

If you get boxed in. Stunned etc. … you are done as a Vet.

Personaly when I heard “contracts” I thought it would be like “mini”-missions you get to do, while playing a regular mission.
Something a little bit more… fun…

Darktide’s gameplay is melee focused for all clases, as Vet 70-80% of my run is melee focused only drawing my weapon to kill Elites and normal shooters when they appear.

I normally wouldn’t argue on skill issues, but if that’s complicated for you… gotta say you need way more hours on higher diffs at the game. I got the untochable achievement running T5+ without problem and I’m not even the best player out there

You literraly get that weekly playing 1-2 games MAX and there’s no problem with it at all. In fact, it’s one of the easiest weeklys out there

While I agree that this is a very minor thing to complain about, there is no denying that the weekly contracts could be better.

And yes, that includes the easy ones too.

Can’t argue it could be better, 100% agree on that.

Although is not good to be complainint of every single thing in the game. Game was designed with this in mind already and is not the worst system either… This is a thing that will naturally improve over time without us saying anything anyway.

Making noise about things that doesn’t need to be addressed right now, will only end up with FS doing a minor change here and saying: “See? We listen to your Feedback, guys”

Don’t make it easy for them to avoid changing what’s important right now :frowning:

I did those for all 5 of my characters from last friday night to monday night. It was NOT fun…

Those are ALWAYS last & ALLWAYS the ones ( The extra L is for: LAME!) that take EXTRA ACTION.

If BloadedWhale wants people to continue playing their game, they may look at some of the good suggestions here or in other threads.

I work full time… I just don’t have time for this. Can’t do that every week…
Especially if they could just make it “X KILLS of Y”…

A) I’m usually are not one of the complainers…

B) The little things are what makes you quit & let the game die.
More classes are nice, but if I have to swallow bull nuts every week, I’m out!

Those are only unrealistic, because the objectives are not tailored to the classes.

It’s just lazy. Also they could be much more fun, if there was some “story” behind them…

But hey! If you are fine with lazy, time wasting designs, then that’s good for you!
