We still haven't seen the development blog

You mean they have to swap out the next set of reruns.

Them having another PREMIUMER revision on the 28th is literally the only thing I would count on. Everything else is just a bonus, doubly so if nothing else breaks.

And the hopeful child in me hopes maybe someone touched the weapons again.

Hey lets at least give them the benefit of the doubt until the day of disappointment that way we can still have hopes they might add an actual weapon skin to the dockets store that isn’t just some… recolor.

Luckily mods exist or I don’t know if I would still be playing this game lol

this isn’t the first time they’ve done literally this. Catfish said a thing was coming the day they went on holiday, and then it didn’t come. everyone lost their minds.

Judging by how the last few times have gone the only thing I’m counting on is the update probably being delayed.

Last time I set the lowest expectations for the skulks event trailer they still managed to limbo under them.

Just letting you all know that since straw hat has said there are multiple dev blogs planning (assuming related to itemization) that it’s safe to say that itemization is not part of the June 25th update. But many of us assumed that was going to be the case anyway.

I’d guess August or September for the itemization patch at this point. Then again, FS also like to release big things in October, so it’s entirely possible it won’t happen until then.

Buckle up for a long flight.

Ouch. Basically the whole year without anything. Ewwwwwww

at least they told us it was a possibility they wouldn’t get it done this time, and we know they’re working on it.

One week left so guess the blog coming the 25-27 and the acctual update comes sometime in early-mid July

My money is on the following:

  1. This Thursday, blog entry about the update on the 25th, rehashing 90% stuff we already know

  2. Update on the 25th containing extremely minor bug fixes, 20 different premium cosmetics being ‘fixed’, and the weapons and map they already shipped. The map will have at least one incredibly obvious bug, and the weapons will range from tremendously OP to ‘nobody asked for this and it doesn’t work’.

  3. The first itemization devblog will drop July 4th. It will contain almost nothing of substance.

  4. The second devblog will drop the 18th or the 25th. It will also have nothing of substance.

  5. The actual update will drop in early August and will fail comprehensively to fulfill any of the things they say they want to achieve. I’m fully expecting either purchaseable weapons or some form of greedy nonsense right out of the EA playbook.

Of course, I could be entirely wrong. Maybe they’re master-crafting some wondrous, player-friendly update.

But if that’s the case they aren’t telling us jack.

FS takes July and half of August off. Maybe we’ll have dev blogs during that time frame but I doubt it. The earliest I think we’ll get any update after MotMG is early September.

this entire subforum is nothing but endless hating. the hell is wrong with you guys, if you don’t like playing the game go away and come back later. don’t hang around being toxic so the devs will avoid interacting with anyone.

Ok you first.

I think people are being toxic because FS said they were working on a devblog 26 days ago which we haven’t seen or heard of since. Plus we still don’t officially know if it will apply to the update on the 25th.

If they didn’t want to write a dev blog about itemization, they shouldn’t have said they were going to.

Maybe secretly its never coming and this is their ‘the dragons are coming’ joke? ‘We’re fixing crafting don’t worry. The overhaul to crafting is gonna be huge and you’re gonna love it’.

But if they actually did it the joke would end.

I mean, I feel like the only post recently I saw from the devs everyone was mostly positive.

They just… Don’t show up here o_o

It gives people the impression they have no passion for their game I think.

This is what we in the business world call a “clue”.

When your playerbase has collapsed and your feedback platforms are full of angry people, perhaps your product has problems and you have failed to address them properly.

When we see progress, or even hear about plans of progress, everyone’s fairly positive. At the very least cautiously positive, anyway. When everything goes silent, deadlines are missed without a mea culpa or any other comment at all… Yeah, then negativity becomes reasonable.

Perhaps it’s a strange concept to some, but being held to account for shoddy behavior isn’t wildly unexpected or unfair.

Being held accountable for ones actions and responsibility are an alien concept to the modern gamer.
