Was that a response to my kit update?
There’s no way they wouldn’t know. He might be able to fool Kruber for some time, but the rest would know for sure.
And even Kruber would eventually notice Saltz never going on daytime missions.
But none of that matters, because I’m quite certain Saltz would rather die than be a filthy vampire.
Don’t the Vampire have a corrupting effect on the Wind of Magic/weave
Wizards and Elf would be uncomfortable (more than usual) around him
Yes.
I doubt he could fool even Kruber. Because if the vampire is strong, his presence will make mortals feel uncomfortable. It’s unnatural, but from other side. Strong vampire from von Carstein bloodline can walk and fight under the sunlight.
Take Blood Dragons for example, they were often “under cover” among other knights with nobody even having a clue they were vampires, and that’s chivalric knights we are talking about here.
There is a big difference, in going “under-cover” in a sea of Knights, and being “undercover” in a tight knit group of 5 (or 4 doesn´t matter). The magic attuned are mentioned here multiple times, Sienna, Kerrilian and Olesya would notice the disturbance in the Weave/Winds of Magic.
Being chivalrous does not give you Vampire detection abilities, it only means you act according to code. A Grail Knight on the other Hand could maybe even hurt a Vampire be merely being present. There are references in Lore, that Grail Knight Chapels have a very strong aura, even if the Grail Knight is buried in it, so that Chaos worshippers can´t be near it or go into it. Maybe the same applies to all that are “corrupted” be it chaos or undead. So Kruber as GK could even hurt Vampire Saltz by just standing next to him.
Also for the “Sigmar blessed me with it” Magic use part.
At least Kruber and Sienna, maybe even Bardin, would know how a WarriorPriest of Sigmar would operate and what “Miracles” he can perform, since they are often attached to Empire Armies and Kruber as pre-Merc and Merc as well as Sienna as Battlewizard both served.
And turning into mist or summoning the dead is nothing any devout Warrior Priest of Sigmar can or would do.
And again, very questionable if GW would allow this. As I mentioned before, they hold a tight grip on the Licence and everything (like GK Kruber) has to be greenlighted by them.
Ah and wenn you make references to Lore it would be helpful, when you included the situations when it happened, like the Blooddragons fighting with Bretonnia. Special occasion? Regular thing? Endtimes fight?
