Also reward us by giving zealot cosmetics with actual sensible helmets
Soldier style ones and old knight styled ones. I’d pay damn good money to have a knight helmet and a more sensible plate/chain mail armor with some purity seals on it

I got the same Imperial Edition so if it’s 25,800 Aquila’s maybe spread over the course of 6 months consider me satiated. It’d be nice to have a little choice in what we look like.
If it’s another reskinned hat with a B on it or some other half baked handful of cosmetics not so much.
I’ll repost this here to remind people it’s not unreasonable for people to want a few cosmetics to work with when they spent an extra £18 for the “Imperial edition”, not being able to afford a single set of Krieg when they waited a year for it is very sad.

The best reward would be fixing the overpriced scummy cosmetic system and add play-earnable currency.

There probably will be! But they’ll sell them as separate cosmetics at full price for each different color!
Plot twist, they will give everyone 300 Aquillas.
The reason this whole hullabaloo is happening is because they want Imperial edition holdouts that have been hoarding their 2500 aquilas while waiting on the Krieg skins to drop an extra few bucks each to make the spreadsheet greener the next quarter. After all, the extra cash they paid early on isn’t part of the current numbers. Everyone’s got to do their part and contribute to the quarterly revenue charts! Gotta pump them KPIs up!~

I’m super glad with the game, dont get me wrong, but if this “reward” is going to be anything but free aquillas or a good cosmetic set for every class I’ll be incredibly dissapointed. I fear it’s going to be another helmet and I hope to god that it’s not, so PLEASE see if you can negotiate something great for those who’ve supported the game since day 1.

Update is great, but the other CMs response is unprofessional and typed in emotion. It’s not nice I’m sure players have rights to the game rewards when it was in such a bad state for a while and you gave the rewards to the console side of the game. Hey it’s still not in a very very good state, mostly foundations are well done now.

yeah agreed the class update is insane i finally feel like the game is worth playing again and now they just give free aquilas for new players kinda destroyed my entire vibe about the game

Here, let me solve this for you Fatshark: Make all the Krieg skins free on PC as a “celebration” on making in through the first rough year. Xbox players can still spend on them if they want them, but you don’t have to give everyone 14k premium currency. Refund the aquilas for the ones who bought them.
This will satisfy 90% of the players. And you might be able to salvage some dignity and good will with the player base after the X:th time you shat on them. Also it won’t cost you anything.

I can’t imagine this ‘reward’ needs ‘weeks’ to implement. It’s imaginary currency…
They are hoping the longer they prolong it, the more people might just bite the bullet and purchase in-game (because of FOMO) or simply forget about it. They want to maximize the cash grab of the player influx as much as possible.
Man, being a DT player makes me appreciate DRG more every day…

The solution is quite simple… give the same rewards for everyone. Either they don’t receive the 14k or just give the 14k to whoever has the imperial edition or everyone who pre-ordered it. Its that simple and fair.

Which boffin decided it’d be a genius plan to offer XBOX players something astronomically good like this? Does Microsoft even compensate FS for the Aquilas people on gamepass get basically free as part of their sub? This is a huge kick in the teeth after putting up with the game’s issues for nigh on a year just because the gameplay was fun. FOURTEEN THOUSAND AQUILAS!! JFC.

You are so incredibly appreciative of the long-term players that instead of just. Thinking about this entire situation for just even a single second. You decided to both reward console players (That were playing for free) while telling the original players to get bent. Its really funny how its the players that are now joining that get rewarded, and people who dealt with your BROKEN game are just left with their complimentary goofy helmets (That STILL clip into faces)
AND you decided to do the Krieg nonsense where you sold THREE items in an overpriced set, with BETTER helmets costing extra and unlike any OTHER set, with multiple missing items.
Cmon, we know that you think we are idiots, you made it abundantly clear when you said that a proper store cant be implemented because our little pea brains would explode if we had too much choice. But christ almighty, can you take a W at least once in your companies existance?
