Unsure about the rotating weapon shop

Yeah, what does this add that justifies the inconvenience? I saw an ogryn weapon type I had never tried before, and when I got my next level to use it, it had been rotated out, and I have yet to see it come back. You should honestly just do what you did in VT2 - reward boxes that increase in quality the better you did, and that rewards multiple items - it was a nice feeling to unpack those and see stuff new to you or that had new stats that affected your gameplay. The curreny system you have now generates more frustration than anything, at least imo. That or scrap the rotation and just offer up every available weapon type for your level.

I’d like to see the shop rotate stock every time you complete a mission. That way you’d in effect be able to choose your reward(s) or, if you don’t like anything on offer, bank the cash instead.

Here’s hoping the crafting system will also address that because getting your store filled with autoguns, axes and lasguns as Psyker almost every single time just feels like a bad joke

I didn’t really complain at first because i eventually get what i want, but then i figured, i’m on remote work, even if it’s annoying i can just check the shop every hour and eventually get what i need

But for the majority of the playerbase they will only be able to check the store once or twice a day at best

There is nothing to be unsure about. Having loot progression tied to a time-gated RNG lottery shop has to be one of the worst ideas they could have possible come up with for this game. You’re not rewarded for playing… but for checking a shop every hour. It’s absurd.

A game with the amount of weapons and version coupled with 5 stats, perks and trait tied to RNG shouldn’t be coming down to a shop every hour.

It should give loot upon loot upon loot. Sometimes you go multiple games, multiple hours without getting a drop, and when it does it’s garbage.

Give players more loot and with all the RNG in play for the item you get the longevity anyway.

This definitely seems to be an improvement

It incentivizes players to actively complete missions as opposed to just waiting on an hourly timer to reset

Presuming FatShark wants players to be playing, surely your suggestion is better than what is happening currently

Depends, might promote the progamerz speedrun mentality and make low level difficulty even worse for new players

That’s a fair point. Hadn’t thought of that

Perhaps we should resign to the V2 progression where you get better gear dependent on mission xp?

That’d be a relatively easy fix, have the quality of the items depend on the difficulty of the last mission. The higher the difficulty the better the loot for sale.
