UI showing, world and characters not showing in game

Issue Description:
I can see the UI on screen in game, but the world and characters are missing, its all black except for the UI and character names. I can hear sound, and it matches as if i was controlling my character in game, but i cant see any of it

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Play Chasm Logistratum as Ogryn (Skullbreaker)
  2. Attempt to pick up the second Grimoire
  3. Crash
    Logging in, i am able to get to character select screen and all i see is the UI, and the world and characters are blank, i am able to log into the characters but then im left with the world and character missing, and only UI visible

Upload Console Log:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide\console_logs
  4. Locate the console log that corresponds with the session in which the issue occurred, by looking at the timestamps in the log names
  5. Upload here

Upload darktide_launcher.log:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide
  4. Locate the darktide_launcher.log in this directory
  5. Upload here

Hi @gargrim,

Can you please try the following (though please note that doing so will reset your game settings, so any custom settings/keybinds etc. will need to be set up again)

  1. Press Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search field and select ‘OK’
  3. Delete the ‘Fatshark’ folder
  4. Launch Darktide (this will recreate the deleted folder)

I had the same problem after leaving and coming back to pplay again months later. This was an instant fix! Thanks.
