Since the Secrets of the Machine God Update I’ve constantly had this godawful texture effect. It is most noticeable on hair. I know this has a name because I’ve seen in games or lets plays before, but it was never present before the patch. How do I get rid of it?

Yes I’ve seen similar things since machine gods. Like hyper gloss on mesh seams or something.
Also many normal objects have a artefact/aura around them. Seems really weird.
And another thing is the mesh LOD taking ages to pop in to higher poly once on the screen. It’s been really bad and on any graphics quality level, so it’s not hardware. My machine can handle full tilt with ease, so mesh LOD popping on low settings is 100% a bug
