sadly, many don’t understand “if he dies, he dies”. it’s often the most effective tactic available. it’s like with real cases of fire, drowning etc: don’t put yourself in danger to rescue others, or you get quickly from rescuer to needing rescue. especially when (in the game) the player to be rescued doesn’t contribute much and resources are already low.
my case above is a good example for this: if the psyker even noticed me pinging the med room, he probably thought of me as a callous elitist or whatever he could come up with. in reality, we would have picked him up soon if he didn’t create panic, and he could happily smite his way through the mission with us. as it was, the run ended here because players often think they’ll bask in the emperor’s glory for saving someone at all costs.
it’s not being edgy or whatever, more a case of carrying fatigue Carrying fatigue - (player skill all time low)
Index uses to be blunt even if it ruffles some feathers. but what do i know after only 30 years of gaming together.
